Taylor Brothers Hot Dog Stand in Visalia, California is known for serving some of the best chili dogs for a reasonable price for the last 72 years. The owner says the shop has tried to keep the prices low for a reason.

Yup my grandma paid 27,000 for a Hyundai in 2018, same price as her 2 storie 5bd 2bth house she bought in 1970.When she passed earlier this year it sold for 880,000.

There's a Taylor hot dog stand in Watsonville, Ca. It's been there for decades, and looks exactly like this place. My kids (now adults) have been enjoying their hot dogs for years👍

Glad to see they're still in Visalia. Went there many times. Doug Scarbrough sang The National Anthem at many Pro Sports Events - I had the honor of being in TC Youth Orchestra when he was lead for Singing Sergeants of Air Force as well as seeing and hearing him sing Our Anthem at a few Pro Games in L.A. His voice was in particular demand in '76 across the US. He also owned Top Dog - a tiny hot dog stand in Visalia by Sequoia Mall, which actually had a much better chili dog than all others I tried. I just looked him up & he passed away in February of '24.

I don't think that $2.75 for a hot dog (even w/ chilli) is unusually cheap! Plus, $1.90 to $2.35, for a soda, tea,etc. for what must cost them about $.25, is no kind of deal! p.s. I was alive in 1952 & if you paid more than $ .20, you were getting "ripped off"! $.55 would be outrageously high!
