She's correct.. Mangalore Kannada sounds very polite compared to Bangalore Kannada. Bangalore Kannada you will feel like they are coming to bash your face.
Yes she is 100% right, I recently came to Bengaluru from Mangaluru for studies, Actually for starting days I was so disturbed from these Bengaluru slangs , I used to address the friends in beginning(before they became close friends) with some polite words like banni ,hogi nimma etc but as the reply barallo, Hogallo ,hogalle ,sariyalle ......😥 (I don't say mangalorians don't speak bad words but definitely they won't speak harshly as Bengaluru people😉 ) But after 4 months now I am convinced with this slang By the way whatever be our slang But we are all proud to be kannadigas 💛🧡 Naanu heliddu sari alva marre 😅
💯 ....being a Bangalorean I stayed in Mangalore fr 9years . Watever u mentioned is absolutely true . They are d sweetest ppl I hv seen n yes the kannada thr is definitely polite n sweet .
Kannada is so elaborate, polite and varient meanwhile for us in hindi it's like just 2 syllables, "kahan-bhosdike"? Every kind of emotion is captured. 😂😂
Iam from Andhra pradesh I have been in manglore for 3 yeats,we shifted to bangalore, starting days of my bangalore was like, why these people are so angry man.... Very rude man What she said is true man
Appa Avva ninage karitayide I am Telugu but I learnt kannada when I was lived in Koppala Gadag Hubli while building a road project between Hubli to Hosapete
Me from Bihar was thinking - southern part has one language but here even kannada has 3 parts. It always amazes how much diverse our ancestors were. Language changes in 30 KM ❤
I agree Most ppl outside state ppl met approves this fact that Bangalore Kannada illa, the people are rude She's kinda right in pun We don't feel welcome at all...are we all Indians by any means? 😕 Kerala is the best homely place smh✨💓atleast most ppl Some other Indian states too dun judge ppl for language barriers
"Yelli hogbeku" is "Where do you WANT to go?" "Koogu" means "to call", "chirping of birds", "shout", "Kari" only means "to call" & also "black". And yes, being a Bangalorean, I agree that Mangalore Kannada is soft spoken and polite.
No. 'Koogu' refers to crying in Mangalore...yeah we also sometime refer it to 'call'.. Dana koogtide... Dana bobbe hoditide. Hakki koogtide ...avalu koogtidale( she is crying)
@@chethanburre6016 'aluthtide' means crying. koogu means Shout. I know. You won't understand What I'm saying. Come to Mangalore, speak to people in Kannada. Here we use few terms differently. In a school, if any girl is found crying, her friend will say, 'teacher , ಅವಳು ಕೂಗ್ತಾ ಇದಾಳೆ '.
Where are you going: helli hogtidiya ( if someone is already going, we just wants to know where he/she is going) Where you want to go: helli hogbeku ( if someone is not moving and want to Move ) Macha you are right.
I speak hindi but the south languages fascinates me , i think we should understand 2 or 3 languages of our own country it's good to connect with people heartily.
Belgaum kannada- 1) yelli hontiri 2) allu 3) karri Well all languages are polite in their own style of accent.. Even belgaum has no traffic😂😂😂 Btw loved the content❤
i am north Indian guys and i don't even understand what are they talking about 🤔 it is all bouncer I never knew that even in South India there is many type of kannada language too 😧🙀💘💘😲 i am very happy keep fighting guys 😂🎉 i support both cause I don't know anything keep going but Bengali must be the sweetest language
