BANGALORE TO CHENNAI on Super Meteor 650 | Long Ride Review 

Jokes aside, cruiser bikes such as the Super Meteor 650 typically have hard suspensions, or sometimes no suspension at all, because they are designed for cruising on smooth, flat surfaces such as city streets or highways. These types of bikes are not meant for off-road or rough terrain use, and as a result, a suspension system is not as necessary. But in this case, it has a good suspension, in my opinion.

I too have done Chennai to Blr and back couple of times… My analysis is road between Chennai and Vellore is under passive construction so it can get annoying… Road from Vellore to Krishnagiri is heaven, I mean one can go there for a fun ride.. Road from Krishnagiri to Blr is good but has significant traffic..

Thank you fir sharing your experiences;an excellent video. I'm buying the same in Interstellar Green with touring seat and screen. I have big miles to chew up regularly between Portugal, Spain and UK so looking forward to arriving and popping the screen off and using the bike around town. I would really appreciate knowing in the future if you change the rear shocks how you got on? Everyone seems to complain about the rear suspension but know one so far has bothered to replace. I wonder if the interceptor rear shocks would be a direct replacement?

You never let us down in your video content or the cinematic involved. I just suggest can help us more by just dropping the over all expenditure of your ride, like the cost of fuel, hotel charges etc...., That will definitely help and make the video more interesting. AND I MISS NORA !!

watching this vlog seems so soothing i just couldn't understand how the 13 minutes passed away. Just one slight suggestion try to add a bit of colour grading just kinda adjust the saturation and stuff , i don't know but i guess with colour grading the video seems a bit more premium and high quality rather than that great vlog!!

I test rode it, the smooth as butter roads might be true in Europe and Americas but even Indian highways don't have that, additionally in stop and go traffic you can feel the heat and lastly when I was coming back to the showroom, the sales guy literally asked me to stop as going inside would mean going over the ramp and it always would touch because of low ground clearance, so he took it around from the back. The suspension is literally a killer for your back.

God i miss those day when i use to ride from Pune to Chatrapati Sambhajinagar or vice versa. Mostly use to ride in morning time. That time i had Yamaha FZ and after some day i brought Thnderbird. Bikes were small small but fun was always same. Now it has been years since i have gone long rides.

Really good content and it's professional. One thing i noticed in this video is u turn off ur bike quickly. Whenever u ride a bike certain KMs likes 20 kms above. if you stop ur bike then you don't turn off ur bike suddenly. You have to run ur engine ideally 2 to 3 mins then turn off it. One of my old mechanic give this tip to improve our engine life.

Excellent video , man ! I have been wanting to do videos like these for a long time but don’t know where to start . Do you mount your GoPro on your helmet ?(I heard it’s illegal in some states) Do you have a Mike wired into your helmet ? I have a chest mount but the angle isn’t great and is too low . I don’t get the view angle like you . On long rides , how do you fasten the luggage bag on the rear seat? My meteor 350 doesn’t have a backrest ( I kept it that way since I like the look without backrest and never have a pillion rider) . Do you find it hard to ride without navigation sometimes ? Have you had any bad experience so far with the general public or road rage etc ? Some may be silly questions but I’m wanting to make a start to making riding vlogs … hope to see your response . The ride quality is not a result of the rear suspension alone, but the riding position which puts pressure on your tailbone, with a slightly laid back position which lets all the road shocks transmit directly to your spine, thus multiplying the jolts.

even I noticed that the foot pegs were making the overall riding position slightly uncomfortable, coming from a dominar, it was indeed uneasy to ride for me, maybe its just a matter of time, till it becomes a habit.

Hi I saw your blog, I have a questions. Actually I booked this bike in RE company store, Chennai. Can this bike will be delivered to other place of RE stores in Tamil Nadu state. Is it possible. Like Coimbatore.

By the grace of God I took my Thunder Bird from Bangalore to Mysore, and then from mysore to Munnar via Bannari Ghat and then to Madurai and from Madurai to Kannyakumari alltogether 935 kilometers, superb with Thunder Bird.

From now on I wil test my suspensions with the holy AAAAANNNNNN

What is the best route from chennai to blore?? Without much of bad roads.. I will be making that ride soon. Thats why !
