Great video! Did my check up at Praram 9 hospital as well and the nurses and doctors were indeed very friendly and made me felt really comfortable. One tip is not to go to the bathroom before ultrasound is done or you gotta drink lots of water and wait. Prices are pretty competitive too and the best thing is getting the report and speaking to a doctor all in one day. Overall I took a simpler checkup and was in at 8ish and out by about 1pm. Will certainly return next year again to do my checkup.

I was about to book a health check-up at the Bumrungrad Hospital ( package at 62'800 BHT ), but after seeing your video, I booked the "Healthy New Year 2024" Package at Praram 9 Hospital instead. Their Advance Program is similar ( if not identical ) and costs only 27'000 BHT through a promotion till 29. February 2024. I'm not an expat but your videos are a valuable source of information for my trips to Bangkok.
Wow Ram 9 hospital looks the works . I just had my PSA test done at Phya Thai 2 hospital BTS stop N4 Sanam pao. Again the staff and all the facilities where very good.It all depends where you live and this is about 13 stops on the BTS from my home. What I found that being private they look after you like royalty which I would hope so after paying the medical expense.😂😂😂.
Ik meende even dat het Bumrungrad ziekenhuis de beste was in Bangkok (en daarbuiten). Ik heb daar wel eens gasten naartoe gebracht. Enfin, de tijden veranderen. Deze zit er ook prima uit hoor!
Hopefully they checked for Cataracts ...... and MRI Scan on Knees to Determine Cartilage etc etc .... Very Efficient Hospital' Good Layout! All in one Location! .....And i notice Geert Wilders got up! ...Hopefully he will be PM!
Can they check for complex conditions such as rheumatological diseases? I am in the USA and very frustrated with the cost and 10 minute appointments for a complex problem. I’m considering coming for a complete and thorough evaluation but not sure they are great at diagnostic medicine. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience.
They most likely have the diagnostic facilities. The problem is if a disease is rare in Thailand, like coeliac disease, cystic fibrosis, and possibly some autoimmune disorders like some types of rheumatic diseases, then the doctors in Thailand may lack actual practical experience, even though they may have textbook knowledge. Clinical experience counts for a lot.
