Thursday October 4th 2018 was a beautiful, sunny day in Bangkok, so I grabbed my GoPro Hero 7 and went for a walk. Starting at Sathorn Square, I walked along Narathiwat Road, took a trip through the market in Silom Sois 7 and 5 , before walking along Silom Road. Finally I used the Silom MRT Station as an underpass to get to Lumpini Park.

If you’ve not come to Bangkok before, I’d stay in the Sukhumvit Road area rather than Sathorn which is more of a business area than a tourist area. Bangkok is getting busier as it gets into high season but it’s been very quiet compared to previous years.

@@gazmat1969 I'd respectfully disagree. I think Sathorn is superior to Sukhumvit for a variety of reasons. Not least, the easy access to the river and all it has to offer. If you are only going to be in Bangkok for a few days, I think Sathorn is a better bet.
