You know, I never realized how brilliant the actual song is in terms of characterizing Banjo and Kazooie. Banjo's notes are very mellowed and simple-sounding but somewhat upbeat like the character. Kazooie's notes have almost like a mocking sound to them, like that "nah nah-nah nah-nah naaah" playground teasing sound.

That goes for Tooty and Mumbo too. Tooty's flute makes her sound sweet and innocent, while Mumbo's changing between instruments sound chaotic and unpredictable.

@@Charlie1056x same, I was too young to be competent with video games and/or didn't get to see/hear the introductory parts/tutorials to understand what I should or could do (since it wasn't mine per se (i.e. possibly older brother's)), but it was still a joy to run around in the worlds and levels of Banjo Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, and Mario 64.
