160k gross, after rent, paying a manager if u have one, and commision fees, ends up at 20-30k. But the avg has gone up, avg gross sales are at 1.3 mil, which makes the owner a net of around 270k. Owning franchises is one the best ways for passive income along side real estate.

Yea but you gotta pay your employees, most franchises purchase their own products to restock, other costs, etc. And you’re required to basically work full time as a general manager so you’re basically making probably around $85k-$100k as the manager. I mean it’s a cool opportunity if you don’t mind working long hours but there’s definitely other options and investments that require less time and can be more profitable with less barrier to entry

Not even a lot of money, most of that profit went to paying employees, jimmyjohns managers make 40k a year so that’s 40k just for the manager. Food costs, utilities, everything adds up, the owner didn’t even make 30k after paying himself and everyone else
