Ride the best of the Banks Peninsula with a good mix of both on and off road motorcycling. It’s right on the doorstep of Christchurch.
Today I’m having a ride with experienced adventure riders Sid (KTM690), Greg (DRZ400) and Gudge (Husqvarna600) to celebrate freedom as lockdown ends. Get out in the fresh air and explore our beautiful backyard around Banks Peninsula.

What a beautiful little cove and beach. Glad it was just a battery issue with that bike. Good technique for jumping it.

How do you like your KLR650? Im thinking of getting one...looks like it handled well?

KLR650 is very reliable bike, easy to maintain and fix, ideal for long travel (big wide saddle, wind protection and 23 litres tank), heavy on real off-road but great gravel cruising, many aftermarket parts. You won't be wrong to choose KLR!

The music, the terrified lambs, the speed , the ignorance there may be a cyclist or pedestrian around the next bend ( I was one of them), riding on pristine beaches, an indifference to anything other than their own noise, testosterone and weak sense of thrill marks them all out as utter bastards.
