you probably dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the latest series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my brother for the last weeks =)
Peter it’s such a pleasure watching you play Banter chess and also in the Legends tournament. You are a true gentleman and a great instructor. I really enjoy your insights about your emotions during play. I just don’t get this honest connection with the younger players. You have a great passion for the game. Please keep in touch with us your fans as much as you can. Good luck with the tournament.
I rarely had so much fun and admiration. Thank you Peter for your wit, modesty and killer playing skills, all going off simultaneously and (apparently) almost involuntarily. And all of this after an exhausting match with no lesser opponent than Vishy Anand. Congratulations and keep going!
Peter is just one of the absolute gents of chess and I could listen to him talk about chess and his fantastic stories all night. Really looking forward to the next session you do and I hope you see all the positive feedback Peter 👍🏻
Definitely one of the most enjoyable banter blitz. Very instructive as well.. Peter I hope you read this. Thank you and please do more of these.. Soon!
I love it when Peter Leko talks about some chess stories like his games against Kasparov, Kramnik, Kamsky or his experience with Bobby Fischer. I hope we will hear more about you, Mr. Leko!
This was amazing, I agree with the one who asked for weekly Banter Blitz by Peter Leko, these are actually my favourites of the series. Thank you Chess24 and Peter for this highly entertaining and instructive session. Great content.
A great player, a fantastic commentator and an even better person, it seems. It's not just that I enjoy every bit of chess related material that guys like Jan, both Peters, Rustam and all the others put out, I just love to listen them talk about anything. And when someone talks about any topic with as much enthusiasm as Peter talks about chess, you have to admire it. I understand why Jan was feeling bad about asking him GOT questions after the Vishy match :)
Actually, Peter missed a hanging Rook on d7 in one of the games (look at the time 1:04:15), and didn't realize it, according to his commentary. He was a pawn up though and won anyway.
Peter is so honest with his feelings about winning or losing , such an inspiration for the young generation.I really enjoyed this informative session.we need more chess from you Peter leko❤️
I love all the shit talk around 7:30-8:15. And all the while he's destroying his opponent - every two or three moves he lands another blow. Really charming.
Dear Peter, that was awesome. You rocked the show and your love and passion for the game displays brilliantly. Thank you very much. Update: Wait. The chess24 crew edited out the game against the flagger Viorel to whom Leko lost in his first Banter Blitz? Why do they do this? That game and Leko's reaction when realizing that during the second show was awesome.
1) Really enjoyable session. Thank you Peter :) 2) One reason lower rated players appear to play well is similar to how lower league football teams turn it on against Premier league teams in the FA cup. 3) Lower rated players do not like unorthodox play and struggle to react appropriately against dubious looking moves. They are generally more suited to "normal" chess moves. 4) With the lock down more people spend time learning opening, middle and end game principles. And not to forget, watching Banter Blitz to learn from the pros! :)
Fantastic stuff! I am interested to hear more coaching tips from Peter about how to convert winning positions, chess psychology, chess improvement and getting to the top, how to be a good coach etc.
A Sir the Legendary GM Peter Leko I didn't know him, ( from other videos) I believed a different personality (but I do not know him personally), I mean mentally I though a very serious person, but It was just a mental image (otherwise a different video); here he showed a quality commentary of his games, good. I still have to watch some others GM's blitzes. Firouja matches also liked very much. Kramink, so solid. Ivanchuk? I laughed hard at some point. A video that is, funny, interesting, and very enjoyable. W HUNGARY W Thanks for these content, I appreciated. 1:21 you see, that's funny. Also of interested the different approach to the Game, of the various GM, for what we can see on video, I can say, fascinating. Salut
I assume Black just plays Rfc8 and white hasn't really achieved much. The pawn is cementing the bishop long term there, the queen wants to be a bit more flexible. But this is just my impression :)
Sorry about Ian's and Rustam's "Did you see the Game of Thrones?" and "It's just a game!", we have to deal with that while true legends are struggling.
Very interesting but the majority of players you played in this one were low/mediocre players... With all those challenges you can accept 2000+ challenges it would be more interesting. Thanks a lot tho !
Under 2000 also pay for premium accounts. They deserved to play GMs as well. Banter Blitz should also be fun, instead of just battles of high level ratings. When playing weaker opponents, they usually tell us the people mistakes that low level players do.
