It's been a quick 5 years since I planted my Banyan tree and boy has it grown! Grown from a seedling from the great majestic Thomas Edison Banyan Tree in Fort Myers, FL, this tree is following suit!

Excellent. Mine in Tampa(planted 6 months after yours) is just as tall, but nowhere near as developed layerally or aerially. I've got some leaves on the ground, the rest have a golden tinge. I just noticed new leaf "pods" starting to open yesterday. I'm just happy we didn't have any freeze last year which gave my tree's trunk a chance to thicken. Are you fertilizing at all? I've been putting 10:10: 10 down.

Sounds like your tree is doing good as well! I don't fertilize and this is the first year I didn't water it at all! I actually pruned some of the branches that were growing toward my garage but you would never know from looking at how well it is growing!
