BAP002 - The T4 (and thoughts on Fuzz Pedals) 

I see this a LOT on Reverb for fuzz pedal listings "I guess I am just not a fuzz guy ..." people still are not educated about rolling that volume knob back on fuzzes. Fuzz circuits are current sources, not voltage sources ... so hitting them with a hot signal like you do with voltage sources is really not recommended. I think this is why many people think they are not "fuzz guys" ... they are going from the practice that you gain stage everything hot instead of some things cold.

I think many people don’t know about flavors of fuzz (2 transistor vs. 4 transistors, etc.) and that with a solid 4 transistor fuzz, there’s no need to push the attack or sustain knob full on to find tone. There’s room for subtlety and nuance. I _love_ my T4 for those very reasons. Incredible stability, clarity, and dirt all at the same time. It’s the only thing that could hold a candle to (& maybe outshine) a rams head. Amazing engineering, awesome build. Thank you for making such a killer fuzz!

Last week I bought the Protein. To me, It is the really great for versatility as no matter using it separately on each side (both side are so great on its own and so great when activate them together.) All the best for any tweak or adjust. Love everything on the Protein. That brought me to attention to other pedal that you may have. The T4 came up and I started to check it out. Today I have got it in my hands, bought it too and try it out. Wow... it's the muff/fuzz that is very easy to get great sound, wherever I put it before or after the protein, or get other pedal to boost it. It's another very versatile pedal for fuzz tone lead tone cleanup tone , really unbelievable. Thanks for creating such great pedals. looking forward to seeing your next products. Now I am a big fan of Browne Amplification.
