As a new Barca fan who got into football during the pandemic. Do u mind just sharing just what was the rivaldo era at Barca like.😅 One of the things that attracted me to support Barca despite them being at their lowest points was the past face of football legends who played at the club. One past legend who caught my eyes with its play style is rivaldo which naturally made me invested to know what his time in the club like. I know abit about his time like he didn’t like playing on the left wing and demanded to change when he won the ballandor, and has a terrible relationship with Van Gaal. But it would be nice to hear from a fans perspective, who witnessed this period of time :)

@@womenssinglebadminton1874Well, I was 10-11 years old at the time man, can`t tell you very much about the context. What I can tell you, is that Barca at that time was more of an underdog as opposed to teams like Real and Valencia. Most of my collegues at school where Real fans, so I was always alone in that bunch. But I do know that there was a heavy dutch influence at the time in the team, they had Overmars, Kluivert, Reiziger, F. de Boer, Philip Cocu... It was a really cool team, and that dutch 2000-2005 team was amazing. The team started getting steam and dominating once Ronaldihno with Henrik Larsson came, thats when the tables turned in the dule with Real. The rest is history.
