I've been watching this show since it first aired some years back and I have to say that there must be something wrong mentally with many of these bar owners to think it's okay to serve food to paying customers that's expired, rotten, spoiled, or a combination of the three. That has nothing to do with having experience and/or the proper training and skill set to run a business. It's just plain common sense.

That was very disgusting.... margarita mix that was expired for over two years,soda dispensers that have bacteria in them and the worst of it was the kitchen! They were cooking food in old ass grease that should have been disposed of and the stove was not clean and bugs in liquor! In Connecticut food and liquor permits would been pulled quick from businesses for shit like this! Beyond disgusting!

I worked in a cheap, basic pub in the UK, not a classy place, but not a dive bar either, but it was always clean. I worked in the kitchen and I know how clean the kitchen was, the bar was clean because once the pub closed people were cleaning. It doesn't take a lot of work though, you have a machine to do the glasses, the bar equipment either goes in the same dishwasher or you just leave soaking in water and give a quick wipe to, you spray and wipe down the tables throughout the day and hoover before you open. It would only take about half an hours cleaning once the place closed to keep it nice, if you keep on top of things during the day

jon taffer is on of the toughest guy to confront the owner who is lazy and does not do their job.when kevin and maria realizes that the drinks that they have and food that they were bad. as well with other people in the bar could not believe what they are drinking and eating because of the ownerof the bar is too damn lazy and didn't do anything to prevent from people getting sick. i feel bad for the people that are in the bar getting over expired drinks and undercook food that contain food poisoning.jon was so furious at michelle who was the owner of the bar. the part were kevin saw the grease frying pan with old grease in it and he said, "oh my god ", he covered his mouth with one hand and it looks like he's going to vomit.that's the reason why people should take the old grease out and put a new grease in to prevent food poisoning. the kitchen looks disgusting. it's unhealthy and it's full of bacteria and other stuff that can make people sick or pass out.

A year+ expired margarita, bugs in liquor, and dirty kitchen...should have been a recipe for license pull. Michelle's extremely lucky Taffer gave her a shot to clean the bar and kitchen; I probably would have ran to the nearest convenience store or something...I won't care, as long as it's CLEAN!!!!! I think this bar became the Agave Junction, if I recall...
