Barbara was so off base here, and usually I like her. You have two incredibly disciplined guys here, astronomical numbers in their first few years and incredibly savvy. No they’re not the best pitchman but looking at the bigger picture, That seems irrelevant to me.
So, she is not allowed to have an opinion! Got it :-). She likes a certain style, energy, presence and it wasn't there; simple. Every shark has a different outlook on how they value deals and that's what makes the markets.
It’s sad that they’re judge on evaluation and tone of speech when this goes beyond making a quick buck. They’ve proven the sales and protecting the planet .
Barbara: "I am sorry guys, it is obvious that I was wrong and you two are decent salesmen and can pitch your product in a way that is both profitable and sustainable . . . ...and for that reason, I'm out."
Ok the CEO is a bit dull: but I liked their simple yet effective presentation. The other Chris is very enthusiastic. And I absolutely loved how they stayed calm and kept it moving after the pretty harsh exits…
If Barbara insulted me like that...I'd interrupt her with a huge smile and say, Barbara, bless your heart(Southern accent)...you're out. But we still love you. And then go right back to the other Sharks.
Really very happy for these guys , they had the 1 ( and only 1 ) good offer from the last shark !!! 🙏👍👍👍 Wishing you both all the success you'll need for the future ... Personally , I LOVE your product !! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
@@JK-qr9rt how else would he deduce barbara doesnt know what shes talking about 99% of the time? If he understands business more than her according to him he should be richer
Yeah it’s called a royalty why do you think Kevin love’s royalty’s so much. You sit back and make money off other people doing work with the use of your patented idea
Barbara always judges people on her biases, what she perceives is their level of “passion” … and she’s always wrong. Even if they didn’t have “passion”, what matters is the idea, it that they’ve struggled financially for their “passion”, etc
We tried laundry sheets. Maybe not that brand? And they suck! It says 100 loads per box.. That's if you use a 1/4 sheet! Fine print small load. 3-4 item's. A full size load needs 2-3 sheets so that's 25 loads at alot more money than any liquid I've ever bought! Hate em
Barbara finishes her clothes in the washer machine then puts them in the dryer and when the clothes are done drying and folded she then proceeds to let them know that I'm out.
These guys seem a bit socially awkward in how they present themselves but they got the numbers and sound genuine with no BS. I find it more appealing than eloquent phony sales pitch all tearing up with their “emotional” stories and none of them had lung issues
Sharks don't want a deal where plastic isn't in existence. Almost all their business is out of China in nothing but plastic. It's like telling an oil man that ev is better for him
Barbara was talking to a military black hawk pilot. Military guys don't tend to be the warm, fuzzy, super talkative sales type. They have to be focused, and to a degree, not be super emotive.
@@Justin-uc8sc The show has 100's of pitches to choose from and yet they choose to just repost the same pitches over and over again lol. There are so many pitches from S1-S8 that aren't on RU-vid.
With how they worded their response to Kevin’s question, it sounds like they’re not going to be given the option to renew their royalty deal. If that is the case, then they would likely have to cease production on the sheets
They will no longer be exclusive when it expires, they can still make and sell the sheets. The inventor can earn royalties from multiple companies instead of one.
No one looked at their numbers objectively besides Daniel. They were solely judged based on their energy level and stage acting skills. With that being said, Kevin was the only one with a compelling reason for quitting but let's just say I'm 50/50 on that.
Those might be the ones I tried and I found the pieces of it clumped up that didn’t dissolve. Haven’t used any like that since. Maybe it’s different when you own your own washing machine and can wait till the tub fills with water.
Lori talks trash to barbara, claiming barb said they couldn't sell when she didn't...then says your deal and sales don't excite me I'm out. How weird. I hate people telling me to invest they have a lot of kids, a bad divorce, cancer, bad times in the army...that has nothing to do with investing. Stop trying to manipulate me. I would be out once they start their feel sorry for me rant.
If Laurie, Daymond or Mark came onto shark tank to pitch something, I don’t think Barbara would think they have what it takes to make it big. Their personalities are not big and enthusiastic. You can’t judge from a 2 minute presentation
It's so weird when Barbara stops them in their pitch just so she can hear more about their military background because she's hot for them. She's not asking any financial or business questions. Just drooling over them. She's fairly conservative and level headed until she runs into military men and young guys she's hot for.
