@@bigrotary7023 It perfectly encapsulated his narcissistic behavior so it was a excellent addition to the story. Literally zero people agree with you. Zero.
@@bigrotary7023 dawg this movie isn’t just a horror movie, it’s like a horror/comedy, believe it or not but movies don’t have to be boxed into one genre, it can be multiple things, and this movie blended comedy and horror very well
I was laughing so loud when Justin Long’s character enters the basement and I can guarantee I wasn’t the only one. Adding the humour was *chef kiss* idea.
No, that was the exact moment the movie took a shitty turn. I didn’t want to watch a horror movie that was trying to be a comedy horror. In contrast to the first 50 minutes, once his character comes in the whole movie goes down hill. Stop it.
@@mart1998in that movie is not for everybody. But the director knew exactly what he was going for and playing with humour imo lifted the movie to a whole new level. The director wanted to have something different and he did. And imo it really paid off. And horror movies are usually better when there’s humour in it as well.
I just watched this today and its because of this review! Thank you so much for being delicate with how you review this film. Going in blind was just an absolute incredible experience.
@@michaelflanagan6556 I think all the great comments about this movie are bots because there all very similar!!! Lol I'm not shocked though gotta do what u gotta do to sell the movie!
This movie was so enjoyably batsh1t. Loved it. One of the most unpredictable narrative structures I've seen in a movie in a while, and it worked perfectly. It also pulled off a fragile line between scarying the sh1t out of you and making you laugh.
I enjoyed it, but it's not something I'm particularly inclined to re-watch. It was better than most of the recent "boo!!!" style bullshit we see lately, but I also can't say it was particularly memorable. There is that one single scene in NOPE that unsettled me more than this. Again, to each, their own. That's kinda the fun part about having so many films to choose from.
@@zacharyberridge7239 yeah I think the fun of this one is not knowing where it's headed at all, and it could be less enjoyable on repeat viewings. Whereas Nope, which I didn't love, lends itself more to repeat viewings because it's so layered and intricate.
Chris do a spoiler review please. This film begs for commentary and I’d love to hear your thoughts. I agree with the comments suggesting you see it with a packed crowd, or at least go with a group of friends. My entire theater was yelling, screaming, jumping, yelling at the screen, and laughing all together. It was great. One of the 5 best films of the year imo, easily.
Oh no I want no interruption those days of kids kicking chairs and people squealing are over for me, I saw it 12pm monday today, fun movie. Why do you need commentary for this, everything is pretty straight forward.
I loved this movie tbh. For a movie that's 1 hr 40, it felt like a 2hr movie...and yet I wanted another 45 minutes. This was just a truly enjoyable experience. I would love more
A movie that is 1h40 minutes long yet feels like 2 hours is not a good thing lol. This is a characteristic of bad/dumb movies. Kinda crazy how you thought that was a good thing....
Stop, this was a good movie for the first 50-60 minutes. Once we get these back and forth stories with no character development or backstory it took a crappy turn. It also tried to be a comedy horror movie? Just pure cringe and terribleness after the first hour. Stop lying to yourself
The majority of this movie had me fully hooked, the opening act was masterfully done and I was extremely invested, it's also beautifully shot and the performances are great. Personally though I really don't think it stuck the landing and I think the last act was messy and rushed, it became very predictable and silly at points and it just didn't hit home for me. Generally though it's definitely a recommended watch.
i Just watched it and I thought it would be like a horror mystery but like I literally hated how certain characters like the land owner was like so annoying and almost comedic and then end was horrible lol i cant believe people like it but the start was like very good
I knew nothing about this movie and decided to watch it on HBO Max one night alone and it scared the fuck out of me. I have watched so many horror films and so many that sucked that I thought I would like but this one was truly special. I was shaky and tense throughout at least half of it. An all too rare treat these days as a jaded fan of the genre.
WOW. I completely agree. It felt like the 'ending' was like 3 endings and just kinda dragged on and went from feeling believable to silly and cartoonish whereas the first half (or more) of the film was perfect. Still good and worth watching of course.
Definitely a pretty good movie but the first half to 2 thirds of the movie had me so much more hooked than the last act. After the creature started showing up more and more I got exponentially less scared and tense.
The movie left me speechless like I didn’t know what I was walking into and left happy, disgusted, disturbed, and entertained. The cast was great, the horror elements were like really good I genuinely was scared, the reveal honestly took me by surprise. There is nothing I don’t like about this movie other than a minor thing which is the dumb decisions made by the characters but that’s what’s expected in a horror movie.
@@lizardgreen2121 I strongly disagree with you like you are definitely in the minority and idk what was funny about the horror stuff in the movie . I’m not spoiling it for others but the tapes was best shown off screen cause that’s too much. I loved this movie and the only flaw is that the stereotypical horror trope of making dumb decisions when the characters in this movie felt smart enough not to do that. I also loved all the main characters.
I just came out of this. The theater was virtually empty. I had no distractions from eating noises or people laughing at stuff they shouldn’t. No cell phone usage, no one blowing their damn noses in the middle of it. It was very quiet which allowed me to be immersed and I was truly stressed TF out. This movie was so much fun.
Lucky! My theater was busy which I normally like but people wouldn't stop talking to the point where me and one other person had ask them to be quiet lol
@@shaney169 omg my freakin theater had people who felt like we’re from LA wouldn’t shut up like some dude was literally sleeping/snoring and his group some ppl were like “AHHHH YEAAHHH” like omg stfu.
i mean people cant really control what is funny to them. i laughed multiple times at the absurdity of the film especially what happens to Justin long at the very end.
The movie ended up being not anything near what I was anticipating or imagining, and I wasn’t disappointed. Not gonna say it’s the best horror movie I’ve seen, but I was surprised by its effectiveness. Nothing was particularly nightmare inducing, but it’s how the themes and situations were laid out that gets you to think about how disturbingly real they can be. Some complained about certain things not shown or explained, but I appreciate that the film didn’t go there with showing anything exploitive. You don’t need to see any visual proof because the origin of what caused the situation to be what it was is clear and something that happens in real life. For me it’s just the knowing that this is more possible than ghosts or a parasitic twin in the back of your head that made the film visceral.
I loved the movie, but I noticed that the audience score for this was only 71% RT. I'm guessing some people felt it was disorganized and didn't provide all the answers to their questions. I strongly disagree it was structured that way purposely to keep the audience intrigued. The movie plays out like an adventure with different twists and turns and if they were paying attention most of the questions were answered. But it left a little bit of mystery which I loved too.
You brought up an excellent point regarding structure. Both Barbarian and Nope challenge the three act structure by placing the exposition scenes for a key third character for the midpoint as a means of throwing the audience directly into the excitement of the horror premise
@@IAMYOU-. just say you didn’t like it. To call something trash that MANY and I mean MANY people loved is pure childish! Saw this in theaters twice! It’s okay not to like the same things buddy
@@AlexisdjgcAKASonny No actually it was trash Saturday afternoon and less than 5 ppl in the theater 3 ppl left 20 minutes early I stayed hoping it would get better Nope
there was only like 4 people in front of our group but it was still great because they were respectful and quieted down when the lights turned off which is rare now. they also were genuinely interested and we all had a good time reacting to anything the film threw at us. probably one of the best theater experiences i’ve had especially because the movie was actually good.
It was like a whole season of American Horror Story in one movie. Starts as one thing. Ends as another. You can't ever tell what's going on. Makes me love the trailer that much more.
i'm so proud of zach. always been a huge WKUK fan since back in the day, and seeing him finally explore his passion for horror makes me SO excited for what his future is gonna bring.
The allegorical storytelling in the 2nd/3rd act was some of the most brilliant and creative work I’ve seen this year. One of my favorite movies of 2022 so far.
Laughable …. Best movie of 2022 sure but does that make it great movie by no means,,…. It sucked, the only thing it had going for it was suspense I loved that , however, CHEESY acting , CHEESY story, Cheesy Character choices , and over all underwhelming pay off of suspense! The movie sucked aside from having weird creatures looking things, and slightly being unsettling, it could’ve been more deep lame*
@@daniellaguna7900 Let’s be realistic, here buddy ,,, The only thing that drove this movie is the fact , you have no idea what’s going on,,, which is great 👍 how ever it got corny real fast, I like the first act with Bill Skargard, he made a great diversion from what’s really down there, by making u think something weird about him, but then they kill him off reviling a monstrous thing ,,, ok cool creepy,, but then cuts to completely new guy, who you know nothing about basically takes you on sped up journey admitting he raped a girl, all for him to end up there and find the place,, only to find the girl whose been there apparently drinking baby milk from a bottle pretending to be this thing’s daughter 😂was cheesy man,…. The guy reaction cheesy ,, she leaves eventually gets the cops !! And all man that was darn near the cheesest part was the cops,, But it gets uglier , the Rapest then looks like he has a reflection moment to right his wrong with the other woman by saving the girl, BUT NOPE he drops the gun and throws her off the roof , after shooting her BRO LAME CHEESY TRASh ,,, the movie is simply a roller coster of suspense with no acto depth and story
This was a damn good movie, it built up a real sense of tension and knew how to relieve it so well. And then when you get right back in to it that tension comes back so much stronger. Much more affecting than any gore or jumpscares for me.
UPDATE: Just read the plot synopsis and it's indeed feminist trash. It's just hidden from the audience in the trailer and the plot is actually pretty over the top dumb. So if you're into over the top, stupid horror, this is the film for you. Other than that if you're a person with ANY sense that's noticed how one-sided politically preachy/leftist/SJW horror movies have become in the past few years, this is one the pass up. It's yet ANOTHER preachy feminist horror with SA and bad/selfish men. So if you're a misandrist/feminist that loves films of whamen empowerment and bad men, here's more trash media for you to consume.
Chris, I just had to tell you that I saw this film based on your review. I was so intrigued. I am so glad I went in nearly blind, as you recommended. I had seen the trailer a while ago but forgot all about the film until I saw your review. I had to take a moment to gather myself after the movie ended before I could leave the theater. I wish I had seen it with a friend so we could discuss it afterword! I will definitely be watching it again at some point (when I have recovered from the experience).
I knew he’d check this one out, I was just waiting for his review. I loved this movie, literally saw it a few hours ago and I wanna see it again so bad. This movie was everything I love about horror and the genres potential to do things you just cant get anywhere else. I’d love to see Chris go into detail about this movie if he wanted to, there is so much to love its crazy. I’m def seeing this again.
It was truly an experience. I loved that it meshed comedy, thriller, and horror all together with some serious social commentary. Director should win some awards with this one.
I watched it on a whim with a friend purely because of Zach (WKUK for life, and I loved Miss March, though boy could it not be more different from this.) Movie was amazing, suspenseful, and supremely creative with its character writing and plot development. I recommend it to anyone who has even a mild interest in horror movies!
Man, Justin Long absolutely kills it in this film. It’s a bold narrative move to go through that sudden shift in tone. And to maintain it for as long as it did. But I was never impatient to get back to where it left off, it was just so tasteful and well executed. It’s especially impressive because that entire section is pretty much only Justin, so the writing practically requires him to carry the entire film for a period of time coming off the back of an intense cliffhanger.
When kieth died and then it was Justin driv8ng down the coast among a grape allegation. I hit pause and said "am I watching a fuxking movie?!" I was just so stunned vy what the first 40 minutes did to me. Then the next, then the final act?! Like what was I watching?! This movie is so good. I felt like I watched 3 movies at once!
It’s the kind of horror I left giggling from… Felt like it juggled the various tonal shifts very well and the dark mix of humor played very well into the audience expectations of tensing up in their seat, while begging on screen characters to just bail. Also, what amazing use of the more dark and claustrophobic sequences.
I’m there with you, this was so funny. I laughed throughout the whole ridiculous thing. Nothing scary at all, definitely not a revolutionary thriller, just a all over the place story that started off string with lots of promise and fell apart midway through but the big reveal and ending gave me side splitting laughs
Totally agree. I think it was very well done. It kept me tensed up all while having some comedic moments for relief. I didn't expect to like this so much.
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Me and my girlfriend saw this on matinee and we loved it. The fact that you never really knew where it was going, and jumped around but not in a distracting way. Acting was great. Plot was all over the place but easy to follow. Neither of us really got that scared, but I will say it keeps you on edge. Definitely worth going to see, which unfortunately is not very common for movies nowadays. It was also pretty funny while not trying to push comedy as a narrative or make it feel unnatural. You WILL not be bored during this movie, which is my ideal movie.
I'm really proud of you guys. I'm even proud of the whole community of critics. Having read some 200 critic synopsises on RT and listening to Chris and reading all your comments, you all do the decent, admirable thing which is praise the film immensely without getting into specifics and spoilers. You were all very entertained and are so conciderate, you appreciate that no one spoiled the film for you so you pay it forward, respecting both the director and your fellow cinephiles so much as to be quiet. Am watching the film right now and its really much because of how you handled Barbarian as a piece of art. Not being able to resist spoiling is akin to the junkie who cant stay away from his next quick fix. So thanks for scratching that itch instead of shooting up,the rest of us salute you.
I knew I seen the director’s name somewhere and when I looked it up to be sure, he’s part of The Whitest Kids U Know (check out their Grapist skit🤣) and he starred on the vastly underrated show Wrecked, which is spoofing Lost and does a hilarious job on that show. Comedians and comedic actors make great horror directors and this continues to prove it.
I'm glad most people are keeping quiet about the details with this one. Hoping word of mouth spreads this like wildfire, it deserves to be a packed midnight crowd movie.
@@janaemitzner3483 my favorite horror movies are the thing, Candyman, evil dead 2, the Texas chainsaw massacre, the descent, In the past couple years, Jordan Peele has made some amazing movies....
Im not a huge movie buff but I have seen a ton of movies and loved a lot of them, really was pleasantly surprised by this movie and felt most critics would be too pretentious for it but figured this guy would appreciate it he’s really the only movie reviewer I watch. Very professional yet also down to earth.
Idek about the “dangers outside of the other host guest” part so when the thing happened holy SHIT I was thrilled. I was fully expecting Keith to be the villain in this movie but found this to be way more enjoyable. I love when movies subvert and I love when they reinvent themselves. This was a real treat.
I think that's one of the reasons the cast Bill Skarsgard, was to keep up guessing. he's a great actor. When he said 'do i look like a monster?' I definitely chuckled (since he played Pennywise in the IT movies) lol
@@stetsoncrobison I noticed he was also the executive producer for the film, so he was probably one of the reasons the film got financed. I was surprised how small his role was but then again, I think that's more on the marketing for deliberately focusing on him and Georgina Campbell
Yes, even the vaguely worded synopsis of the film plants the idea in your mind that Keith is the villain. Using phrases like "arrives late at night", "young woman", "strange man", etc. It's part of a plethora of reasons as to why this film was brilliant.
Mine was absolutely horrible. There was an old lady of course sitting right behind me that wouldn’t stop laughing for 90% of the movie. Still absolutely loved the movie
Only thing that sucked for me was my theater was empty! This is one of the best modern horror films and it’s so refreshing that it’s not a sequel/remake/reboot of something else
You might agree with this, but wouldn’t you enjoy that type of film (horror) more if the theater was empty for the energy making it perhaps a bit scarier?🫣 I understand like the marvel films people like the theater to be full to feel the crowds energy & thats nice but this film is in a different category so maybe the crowds energy or lack there of would have you more engaged? 👀 or we can at least agree that not having crying babies in there for that type of film was a good thing😂
My auditorium was pretty full. What worries me is the parking lot was pretty empty at my local theater so few people aside from seeing this movie and I'm worried my local theater is gonna close
I really liked this movie, specially because the movie did not cheat anyone with the intentions to be a comedy/horror movie. For example, I had a trouble with The Black Phone with the comedy, well, the little moments of comedy it had. The movie pretended to be a horror movie and those comic moments, vanished what the movie propossed. In Barbarian, the movie clarifies its intention to be a fun and horror movie. Well, I do not know if someone felt the same with The Black Phone, I felt just like that.
Thank you so much for reviewing this and not spoiling it. You're totally right. Go see it with only watching the trailer. It's a joy to be surprised for a change.
Just watched this today, figured It would be a good Halloween movie and WOW. I wish I was better with words because this was spectacular. The jumps between perspective and tone, the legitimate surprises that you don’t see coming. The suspicions that end up being wrong. The disturbing imagery, not just violence. I just thought this was a standout horror movie
This film genuinely surprised me and subverted my expectations in a great way that works for the overall narrative that was constantly unraveling! My audience loved it and it was fun seeing their reactions
I saw the movie last night and I thought it was a perfect way to introduce the horror movies for the fall seasons. Love the direction the movie goes in and had a great time! Super recommend it!
Loved this movie. Might go see it again. They pulled off am eerie and creepy atmosphere so well. Something about such a nice, warm, and modern looking small home in the middle of such a run down and almost apocalyptic looking she'll of a neighborhood was incredibly chilling.
I just saw the movie last night, I absolutely loved it. I liked that it was something fresh and something new. I also felt pretty close to this movie, because it takes place in my hometown. Had a great theater experience with this one
I just watched this movie blind with a friend tonight, and I REALLY enjoyed it. I just expected this to be another generic horror film, but this was definitely a step up from the majority of horror movies made in the last decade.
Saw this opening night in a relatively packed theater and I absolutely loved it. Everything about this film I was completely on bored with. The twists and turns were as batshit insane as last year's Malignant, but the overall execution of the film and its script were much stronger (and different; no spoilers). I'd give it a solid A-
What an experience! This is what it's all about! I wish I wasn't so late and saw this with more people. Lol I hope everyone who sees this realizes how important movie theaters are.
For those who have seen the film already, would you recommend it to someone who doesn't generally like being scared? I loved The Witch and The Lighthouse because they weren't too scary but Midsommar creeped me out too much and I refuse to see Hereditary
I love well-crafted horror and I don't get scared easily, but this movie is pretty scary. A lot of creepy atmosphere and dread in the first act, especially. Worth checking out tho!
This movie hardly has any jump scares. Two at the most. The suspense is actually from the silence and wondering what’s going to happen next. I still think it’s a really scary film, but it has to do with the buildup of the suspense
@PapaBigBalls hereditary is one of the lamest movies in history. Anyone who thinks that’s a good movie I question if they know how to wipe their asssss properly
About to go to the theater.. alone for the 1st time to see this - purely based on your recommendation. Love your opinions and videos, Chris - keep it up!
This film was all over the place. The characters were one dimensional and the story had many unnecessary aspects and sequences that could have been easily cut out with no issue.
Saw this last night and I LOVED IT. Please do a spoiler review later on. I half heartedly watched the trailer weeks ago and had no idea Justin Long was even in it. Totally expected your basic "bad man trap woman in basement" thriller. Absolutely blown away with the initial direction twist. So fucking wacky but also genuinely scary. I love the elements left to the imagination by not showing too much in the flashbacks, leaving you to picture the horrors that happened.
That's because they did a good job with the trailer by not spoiling the entire movie. I was honestly speechless because it wasn't something that I wasn't expecting.
Everyone in my theater sat around in silence when Barbarian ended. It's the rare movie that leaves everyone speechless. This is what the theater experience should be. It was a batshit movie, loved it to bits. Probably the most unique thing I've seen all year.
How can a movie about rape go along with "jokes"? I keep seeing "i also laughed at some parts" comments. It is possibly not directly about rape, but, a movie having that topic, according to me, should not have laughing elements in it.
@@MikeyDLooffy not laughing at a movie which mentions rape and getting disturbed OR being raped before so getting extra triggered from the movie so again not laughing, makes someone SHIT??
We had technical difficulties in our cinema but it made the movie experience even better! The film paused and the whole cinema (which wasn't too many so it felt intimate and nice because it felt like we could bond together more closely) was so confused if it was a part of the film, then after 5 mins we realized it wasn't so we all had a good laugh 😂 BUT THEN!! On top of that, the lights didn't come on at then end of the film, and again we weren't sure if it was a part of the film, so we stayed and watched the full credits anticipating a jump scare and then we had a laugh about it when it was over haha. I think the screenings of the movie should totally do this!! It was hilarious and so enjoyable! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time so the break when the movie paused, and they had to fix it which took about 15mins, was actually so good because it gave me time to take many deep breaths 😅😩 I'm still recovering though from how good it was!! imo - also the manager of the theatre told us never in her career had something like this happened before, it was so odd haha
I really loved the movie and I dug how the movie kept changing and just how unpredictable it was. I thought the third act wasn't quite as strong as the first two but I really dug it. I give it an A For me this is has been a great year for horror 1. Nope 2. X 3. Barbarian 4. The Black Phone 5. Scream 5
Oh my god this movie is great!!! It’s already been an excellent year for horror but Barbarian is just the icing on the cake. I’m super excited to revisit this
I went into this movie knowing nothing, not even a trailer view. All i knew was that the film was definitely worth checking out. My goodness was it ever, the narrative is told in such a way that i was immersed the entire run time. When it ended i reacted by "thats it?!" I would of been fine if it continued because i was hooked.
I saw this yesterday and I loved it. My husband didn't like it, but he did admit to enjoying a few moments. I really hope this director makes more stuff because he did a fantastic job!
Just saw this film yesterday and it absolutely shook me to my core! Everything about it was fan-fucking-tastic! The performances, the twists and turns, the writing, all of it came together in such a terrifyingly beautiful way!
I just got home from watching this and had to check to see if you did a video on it. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL. The entire theater clapped at the end. Easily the best horror/creepy flick I've seen since Hereditary. Everyone should go watch this in theaters.
There were two funny scenes with Justing Long that had me laughing louder than I screamed at that scene. The movie was great and pulling fear and hilarious laughter out at different times.
Just watched this film and it was absolutely BRILLIANT! I love a good scary movie, and I can tell you there is no other film like it in the genre. Bring a second pair of underwear when you go to see it, because you’re going to need it!
Really dug this movie. Great visual storytelling mixed with a somewhat unconventional structure. Moved at a great clip and had some great, layered meaning. And it was just plain enjoyable and well done.
honestly when you mentioned justin long being in this i was kinda like "ugh, really?" but his character is definitely really interesting in this and captivated me the whole time.
Hey Chris, just wanted to let you know that I appreciate you for letting me know which movies are the good ones. I have watched a few movies due to your influence so always remember that you have affected many of your viewers. Wishing you all the best.
When I first saw the trailer, I immediately turned it off at the beginning and said to myself to make a mental note to check it out when it is available on cable. I watched it completely blind and it was worth it. We need more of this.
My lady surprised me with tickets to this movie that I hadn’t heard a single thing about. Considering she hates horror movies I was so surprised and blown away by this one. I mean goodness gracious the film was just pure anxiety. I had a brief moment where the pacing shift really bothered me but once I realized that it was intentional and taking us somewhere it was truly amazing. I’d say 9/10 because I think the ending could have been a little slower
It starts very well, with the scenes from the trailer, those scenes that pulled us to watch this movie, we were quite hyped. But after the first act of the movie, the writers decided to mess up the whole thing. It's a shame, really, this had the potential to be one of the best horror movies of the last 5 years, but it's just another bad movie made by modern Hollywood. If you're wondering if this movie is free of political propaganda, I'm sorry to tell you, it's full of it (after the 1st act). I thought hollywood moved on from the "me too movement" after 4 years of movies and tv shows full of it, but it seems it's back. "Men, like, omg, do better" Anyway, the protagonist actress is very good, Bill's performance is amazing too (too bad his time is too short, I wonder why, since he's the best actor in the whole cast)... and that's it. A disappointing movie, full of plot holes. Bait and switch, basically. There's a reason why they only showed scenes from the 1st Act in the trailer, they knew no one would watch this movie if they showed the stupid useless scenes from the act 2 and act 3. Anyway, this is a Jordan Peele type of "horror" movie, watchable but weak and stupid. To anyone (like me) disappointed with this movie and left with a bad taste in their mouth after wasting 1h40m watching this, I recommend you watch (or re-watch) 10 Cloverfield Lane, a really good Horror movie, that has a really great female protagonist and evil men, but (surprise!) no political propaganda! Just pure entertainment. Have fun.
I walked in with really low expectations, thinking this was going to be yet another thriller/horror movie by a male that's an allegory for experiences that women go through. If anyone is on the fence about seeing this film and is reading this, go see it! It will refuse to meet your expectations in the best possible way and will keep you on your toes. This movie was amazing and had my jaw on the floor at several points.
Chris I've watched you for years - extremely entertaining channel - really personable guy. I really enjoy your videos and mostly agree with your reviews of movies and have often found movies I wouldn't have found if it wasn't for you. However I believe you are well off the mark with this one. This is a bad movie - and I mean really bad. I do think it started off well but after that went downhill rapidly. I'm not going to go into details just to make sure I don't spoil anything but man, this was a bad movie.
This film was so sick, so twisted, and surprisingly humorous at times, and I loved it! It was so shocking and so unpredictable. That film was just so so good! I loved it! One of the best films of the year!!
What's impressive to me is that Barbarian is a movie with an original story. Not based on any existing IP or remakes, just fully from the filmmaker's head so in any way, Hollywood still make good original movies. Better support it or else we won't get that much like this anymore
