So Enjoyed your video........sadly my experience of ordering a ticket to fish the River Wye from a certain shop in Ross on Wye was not one I will be repeating!.
Danny, I really enjoyed this video. It’s given me the insensitive to persevere when the odds seem to be stacked against you. Also, some good advice there on bank safety, something that you can easily forget during the excitement of hooking a good fish. Thanks again👍🏻
no problem at all mate glad enjoyed the vlog. try and include as much as can and always think that video may be watched by somoene who has never been a river. thank you for kind words mate tight lines
deffo keith i was buzzing as i was questioning myself fishing so close in but when you trust yourself and comes off its a great buzz, tight lines and thank you for kind words
These are the best angling videos on RU-vid in my opinion and love your focus on barbel and chub now. I’ve been after a barbel since June and not had a sniff as yet on the Avon (BAA). Am heading to the Severn (BAA) this weekend and will be using your tactics. Have just got some Hinders Elips so will be using those after a lot of recommendations recently. A request if possible please - Would be great if you could advise what times of the day you catch each fish on the vids. Keep up the great work 👊👊👊
cheers for kind words matey i will certainly start adding that in future, this year day time buts have been there to be honest but lately its been evening into dark for sure
Great angling in truly horrendous conditions. I went fishing in the same storm but caught my pb Crusian Carp at 3lb 9. So sometimes it’s worth persevering. Have a great weekend
Great vid Danny .i was kayaking on thewye earlier this year an saw a lot of good chub an barbel .i plan to return with a fishing rod to try for a barbel an chub .any info on day tickets would really be apreciated if you have time .all the best Danny tight lines
Danny absolutely stunning angling buddy in them conditions i salute you sir danny ,as you know this is my 35th yeat fishing the river wye i just love the place i fished the river wensun told it was better than the wye in my opinion the wye is the place for the best coarse fish in the uk the mighty BARBEL,end of october will be my last visit to the wye for this year, winter i do lots of Lure angling but hopefully next year will be my 36th year like you i come from the northwest and it's such along way to drive to the wye i wish i lived close to the wye if only, great blog danny and Congratulations on an absolutely stunning session keep safe danny, para
i agree in all fishing doen the wye is head and shoulders above anywhere i have been, 3 trips consistent barbel and solid chub and 3 doubles, i love place thiking of going down there i france is cancelled. i wish i loved around the middle severn hour from where i am and hour from wye lol tight lines mate
Fantastic Danny, really enjoyed that. Thanks for braving the conditions and sharing with us all. 🖒🖒🖒 Don't suppose you can give me some advice on how to fish a big lake district water?
i dont really fish big lakes apart form the mere you see me pike fish and from that i can only say it comes down so much to location!! sucha big water you have to be on fish, know it sounds obvious but we always spend a hour looking before we set up
@@DannysAnglingBlog Thanks Danny, I'm trying to follow the wind direction and looking for fry scattering,,plus features and drop offs. Not sure whether to sit it out with dead baits or roam around with a spinner or lures. I've got access to a rowing boat, but it's like a needle, in a haystack ! 🖒
no, not really i ddint think anyone would be interested in the cost, if its any help i buy all my bait in bulk i.e 10kg of ground bait, 10kg pellets, 10kg hemp etc when do that its not expensive at all
