Why not use a machine; leg press, hack, smith instead of taking over the cables with this harness ?

Every single exercise you listed is like putting your spine in a panini-press. Squat Harness adapts to your body's natural movements. It's less constricting than barbell squats. Also, its not "taking over" the cables to train your legs. There is no rule of the gym that cables can only be certain exercises.

​@@CoachRosenblattYou're the coach but hack and leg press don't bother my back and this is coming from someone who doesn't barbell squat anymore... True there is no rule against it but there is gym etiquette and if multiple leg machines are free in a gym and someone is taking over TWO cables for this in a busy commercial gym.. I can see gym owners asking patrons not to use it. Just my observation

Gym etiquette doesn't change on the cables whether someone is doing cable cross overs squats or curling from both sides of the machine. As long as you are considerate about other people around you. It's not like curling at the squat cage; cables are universal. But just for reference sake, this is designed to connect to the personalized cable machines that are usually not in the main weight floor area. It also attaches nicely to the cable step-up machines they have at many gyms. People are always using those to themselves which is perfectly ok. There are also a growing number of people training at home. One more thing: It is always difficult to explain to those who don't have chronic pain, but if you have survived any type of injury or trauma to your back, or if you have problems with your knees etc, you become very limited in what you can do. Something like this is a game changer on many levels, and as we speak, there are a growing number of users who greatly appreciate the freedom The Squat Harness gives them to Squat. Like anything, its not for everyone. But until you try it, you'll never understand how smooth it feels.

Please be serious dude. Thats a cute accessory. Maybe it has a place for cripples trying to recover. It's not going to make anyone strong or big the way squats and deadlifts have been doing for decades.

You have no idea what you’re talking about dude. I have strength athletes and bodybuilders around the world using it as an accessory to their programming. It works with trap bars and straight bars too and is not too different from using wraps or knee braces. Its easy to judge what you haven’t tried before
