+ken ark . Get a few things. A couple pair of adjustable clippers, preferably the Andis Master and/or the Fast feeds. A pair of T outliners. An extra pair/of outliners. A cape, a few guards.
Love the way a pivot sounds over magnetic. These are currently my favorite clippers along with Andis ceramic pet clipper blade. Believe me the pet and the human blade is the same shit. Had them both and returned the human one because pet one is cheaper.
a number of months ago I got the expensive 76. I'm glad I did. It's expensive and and probably over kill however I wanted something that could cut thick body hair and plow thru everything. very powerful. I only use it 2 to 4 times a months. yes its a commercial clipper. will lasts for years.
If you are inside the continental United States, you are the winner of the Wahl "moneymaker" clipper cover. Please DM me your info on Instagram and I'll get it out to you on Monday! Congratulations, thanks for your support, and thank you for playing.
angel ortiz, you need to get sand paper and hollow out the blade seating. Where it is square, round it out. There's videos here on you tube that show you how to zero out fast feeds with a ceramic blade.
Im in barber school right now I never did home cuts either. Because of that I know I dont have any bad habits to break and I can be molded and taught more easily.
+Josh Hernandez you can take the lever off and make sure the blade slide is all the way back before screwing it back in. then loosen the two screws for metal piece that the cutting blade slides on and make sure it is as most forward as it will go. that'll get you pretty close with a stock blade. some people make the holes bigger so that it can slide more it forward, but i never felt comfortable doing that. easiest is to order am andis ceramic cutting blade from a number 1 detachable for 10 bucks on ebay. it gets the blade cutting really close and i've found it to cut a little nicer.
I'm just about to start barber school and I am torn between the Classic 76 and the Fast Feed I know it's ridiculous for me to ask but can you please tell me the difference between both of them ?? and which one is better for beard trims and haircuts ?? Thanks
The 76 is a rotary motor detachable clipper suitable for removing large amounts of bulk and creating guidelines for the most part. The fast feed is versatile and is adjustable. If you get the fast feed you will need the Andis double magnetic guards available at www.atlantabarber.com. I would deff suggest the Fast Feed over the 76 for school.
What size detachable did you take the cutting blade off of? Let me know I want to do the same thing. I'm thinking about using my oster 0A cutting blade. But before I do, I would like to know because I don't want to take apart more than one detachable before I find the right size.
Great video. Just wanna know in detail, what do you mean when you said you gotta work slower with this clipper? Just wanna know more cuz I realise that mine snags and pulls a little. Even when I clipper over comb. Can't even cut through thick hair smoothly. Your experience with this clipper would really help!
In fact, it cuts so slow, when I leave the clipper at the spot it's cutting, it actually having problems CUTTING the hair itself. I'm so disappointed..
+CleanCutz thanks you man, I appreciate for replying, I was going to choose that fast feeds too but wanted to know ur decision, now I know what to buy👍👍👍🙌🙌🙌
CleanCutz may be a Lil late but watching your videos now!! Out of Legends masters and feeds which one? I have the masters but hate how fast they heat up.
IŹŹY MØNTANA seniors, so much more versatile with bulk and fading. I started on seniors and I just bought some fast feeds today tried them on 5 cuts and so far I love them but the biggest problem is the ergonomics of them as in they feel old school and not happy sitting in my hand they're not bad though. also they have a very hard time cutting through bulk. maybe 0 gapping helps and maybe a lower audt blade will help or a ceramic idk.
Mitchell Fuqua I have fast feeds now and must say the ceramic blade cuts better but I'm tired of how quick the machine itself heats up. Within 15 minutes of use you can feel the heat but with wahl super tapers I can cut for a hour without any heat. I'm considering getting the wahl cordless magic clips next.. any experience with those?
IŹŹY MØNTANA the magic clips are great, I'd recommend getting the surgical blade (fade blade) from the seniors on the magic clips if they don't come with it. I have seniors and they're great. I feel the opposite with the ff and seniors comparably to your heat issue. my wahls get hot in 45 mins and my ff didn't get hot at all. I do want the ceramic blade now though.
Mitchell Fuqua I have a feeling it could be my converter? My fast feeds have been working fine it's just the heat issue hence why I'm considering trying wahl and the cordless factor seems like a plus for me because of how I like to move around the client
IŹŹY MØNTANA I never find my cords a problem with my client but I also never discourage cordless clippers because I absolutely see the benefits. follow me on ig and you can message me there if you need any advice. IG: fuquathebarber
