I'm an Economics major in college. Currently in my second year. I'm actually considering barbering after college haha. I always find myself watching vids. I think I'd be a pretty good barber, I have great hand eye coordination and pay close to details. I guess it's something to consider
@@muralliank3194 That's too many haircuts. I dont do more than 5-6 people per day, so avg. $120-$150 per week. That's what my goal was, not too much money but not too little
thats right! that cut came out hella clean, lil man fresh and i like the fact how you make it look so easy n how you explain everything step by step. your a good teacher and got hands with clippers. appreciate all the knowledge you drop. much love n respects brotha! cant wait for more of your tutorials
I'm not a professional barber, just cut me and my sons hair and I've been using the Andis Masters for the past few years. Just got the Fast Feeds like a month ago and man the fast feeds blend so dam good with ease!!!
@show_thebarber @thelablabest but I think that was one of the most easiest videos to watch and learn from that I have seen in a long time. good shit bro
YO Ricardo I just want to say thank you for all you do bro. I am a new up and coming barber. Starting out probably older than most but nonetheless very passionate about being the best I can possibly be. Your videos are an inspiration and also a very helpful tool to me. I appreciate you taking the time to help educate us. If I am ever by your neck of the woods (which I am not sure where that is) It would be a treat to come get my haircut by you and also pick your brain on hair. Thanks again and God bless primo. I hope one day to get as good as you.
My man! Very nice cut. My son is 13. He got straight hair. I ain't never lined up long straight hair in the front. Normally he gets a bald fade. I put some lines in the side. However, now he's trying this whole long hair thing. He wants a ponytail. He is at about 4 inches on the top so far. What I don't like is he got wings above his ears. Is there anything I can do to tame that but not mess with the hair too bad that he can't get it in a ponytail? Thanks so much for your video! So glad I found it.
That was a clean technique man learned alot just from this one video.. I have a question tho? Have you tried that line up technique on different hair textures??? Or just on straight hair??
ever since ur last vid about modding the fast feeds i did the same and luv it. great vid. one question. was that jus hairspray or spritz? what's the diff between the 2?
I dont have any dvds. I jist have some instructionals here on youtube. Theres over 100 videos if you check the channel. Hopefully this hells man. Best of luck with everything once this is over. 👍
Very helpful vid bro. Im a self barber actually just picked up a topaz. Ive watched quite a few different fade vidoes and ive seen people do it different ways. Which do you thnk is best as far as fading out the line starting open lever then slowly closing to fade in or Open then closed all the way to slowly open.
I run heavy equipment for a living and make C $28.00 an hour, I have a passion for cutting hair. I got myself a fast feed too cut my hair and my friends, I’m looking for a career change and wanting to cut hair. So how do I get into this line of work and would it be worth dropping my current career to cut hair?
Exactly the dang parents are the ones more worried then anything. Kids don’t care about fades and line ups they don’t even know about them. I guarantee you that kid gets an expensive haircut and wears Jordan’s and the latest close to school but doesn’t even eat solid meals at home because the parents care more about trying to look rich.
@ 2:17 you say you're using 1 1/2.. But its a magnetic guard.. Is that just the 1 guard with it half way open?(I KNOW ANDIS DOESNT MAKE A 1 1/2 guard OR DO THEY?!) I loved your method the most imo. It was super fast!!
Is it ever appropriate to use the 0 purple nano Andis guard when fading. I see some barbers using it and others not. I have tried both ways on my own head and I can never seem to get it completely blended without the 0. Although I would like to get to a point where I don't have to use it
Could you tell me if you have a "Balding clipper" which you could recommend? I am tired of my Wahl version as it just not cut close enough. Nice video by thr way.
Is the ceramic really that necessary? I found them on amazon for 26 buks not including shipping and taxes so im def not getting that. And then they have fake ones too for 6 dollars but they have very bad reviews
Lately I've been cutting my sons hair. He has a combover but all I do is a 1 on the sides and clip over comb to blend it to the top. I want to give him a fade like this so what steps do I have to add? I'm using oster fast feed and t-liner.
