I really love these dream besties. I think they're so cute. My Malibu's phone didn't fit in the case either. I used some sharp scissors to cut just a little sliver off the top of the phone and now it fits in the case perfectly. I have all four but Brooklyn is my favorite. I removed all her tinsel and she has the best hair out of all of them.
Great idea!! I agree, Brooklyn is by far the prettiest. I think her makeup direction is better than malibus. I like the drama it has! Hair tinsel I do like, however hers looks like a pain. I may be getting Brooklyn soon. We shall see lol
I was going to buy her but she is $35 Australian dollars and I just didnt think she was worth it. I hope they do bring out a playset, that would be super cute! Great vid, thanks :))
Oh my I agree with you holding off. She’s not 35$ worth. I think anything over 20$, she wouldn’t be fully worth it. However maybe she will go on sale and then you can get her!
Every other review ive seen of these, barbie's phone does not stay in the case so its not just you XD personally i don't really like these, the faces remind me too much of the barbie minis, theres just something about their mouths that remind me too much of a toddler or childs mouth, and it feels uncanny, but im very happy that others like them and im happy they are better quality for the price, i hope they get better in quality instead of dropping in quality PLEASE MATTEL. your restyle of barbies hair looked sooooo nice and the sound effects while moving the joints made me laugh so much XD
Ohhhh well look at that, just a poor design. Yeah I can see your point. They are not for everyone. They have a moon shaped head. Wonder if they made their heads more like my scene what that would be like!
I originally thought I wanted Brooklyn and Teresa first, but I went to one of my local target stores ( my town luckily has 3) because I knew Spectra was in stock and wanted her, I did briefly glance at the Barbies and spotted the 2024 holiday Barbie passed on her had spectra in my hands then as my husband and I were turning the corner we saw Malibu and Renee and I also drop kicked a perfect spectra just to get Malibu and Renee unfortunately my phone didn't fit in the case either and I cut the phone to fit in the case and it still doesn't fit and my Renee has a broken neck peg out the box I love these dolls and can't wait for the Ken and daisy doll they are going to release I hope we get fashion and accessory packs lol omg shoes are perfect for swapping with
Aww:( see we did things in reverse! Whats funny is I’m so happy I got spectra first. Call me crazy, but I do believe spectra was done a lot better. That’s terrible about your doll being actually broken! Were you able to get a replacement? I’m excited to see what direction they go with these dolls. They’re interesting enough to get me to notice them. We shall see if they have anything else worth getting!!
@@disneybarbiegirl615 I agree with you spectra is better this time around, her g1 core doll was okay, I loved her 13 wishes dl and just found that playset today, I was a teenager in high school in the my scene days and adored them but also loved Bratz , these dolls are an amazing turning point for Mattel a happy medium for adult collectors to kids unfortunately I have not been able to exchange her yet, but will probably cut the loss and get a new one, I will admit I didn't like the prototypes but these are absolutely worth it
It’s a no from me. I really like the fashion but I hate the proportions. Huge eyes lower down on the face gives Disney 2010’s princess vibes-Rapunzel, Elsa, Anna, etc. They’re shorter than Barbie, too. I think if these Barbie’s were just regular sized and had the same style of face, but better proportioned for the head, it would be a successful line.
