This was a medley from Barbra's "The Concert" tour in '93/'94, when she returned to live paid performing after a 27-year hiatus. David was actually there that night, and I'm sure he'll share that experience with you. This medley sounds like it could have been arranged by the great Brazilian composer, Antonio Carlos Jobim. This is why I say it is almost impossible to zero in on her "prime"... she reinvented herself each decade, and that incredible voice maintained it's excellence for 50+ years! I absolutely adore her. But you can tell that she’s really nervous. The vocals were better by the end of the tour. But still better than anyone else out there.
