I've got the special DVD with directors notes and it's hilarious how much details are to be "missed" when you just watch the movie for entertainment and not see the effort and timingskills that were put into this movie... very well written and directed

Rowling does), if she had the $ she'd give it away & she DOES, Streisand Women's Heart Health Centre @ Cedar's Sinai cost MILLION$, & as she also mentions she has grandkids to look after. MTM sold entire television studio for $hare$ that tanked, long career no indicator of wealth, wasn't Jimmy Buffet a billionaire?

Barbra Streisand gives nice interviews, and talks about interesting things. I knew she didn't think What's Up Doc? would make any money, but it became a huge movie in the 70s, it aired on network TV so many times, I believe in 1979 it aired twice on network TV. It's my 3rd favorite movie of all time.

So Ryan and Peter kept their percentages of What's Up Doc? and made a fortune. Barbara gave up her percentage for 2 million dollars up front, but doesn't consider that also a fortune? To most people that would be a life changing amount of money. Not a criticism of Barbra, but I am somewhat amused by what she "settled for" considering I've worked and saved my entire life and don't have anything close to 2 million to show for all that time and effort. Most people don't.
