Sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the account password. I appreciate any tips you can give me!
every performance I watch of stephen Page, he is the number one for putting on a performance that matches the original recording. Exceptionally consistent vocalist.
Holy cow, I used to have the audio of this on a cassette but lost it. I vaguely remembered the "You Too Can Be a Rockstar" and now I get to hear it again AND see it?! My day is made!
First live show we took our 9 year old son to...this show. His reaction was priceless. Will never forget it...wonderful show...best of memories. Awesome introduction to live music for him...consumate professionals. All I can say is great to see this and thanks bnl!
Thank you very much for telling us about your wonderful family memory! What a fabulous time you must've had. I introduced my grandchildren to this delightful band recently..because I feel that they, as intelligent and interesting individuals and music fans, they should appreciate one of the best bands of all time. BNL just makes life more fun! ❤🎉❤
OMG! I just stumbled across this video and am floored as I was there. My brother played his guitar in the parking lot pre-show and gathered quite a following. I love this! Thanks for sharing. Oh and I saw them last night and they are still fantastic! I do wish Steven would rejoin the band though.
I was at this concert. I was 19 from Nova Scotia and got a job teaching hockey at Camp Half Moon in Great Barrington Mass for the summer. Several of us went to this concert and it was fantastic. Vertical Horizon opened the show and they did not disappoint either. This is a great venue to watch a concert. Brings back great memories of a great band and a great summer. Thank you for posting this.
Wasn’t it incredible. I remember the buildup on the radio (that was actually important back then lol) for months building up to the show. What a night!!!! There are plenty of bands I like more…..but not many concerts.
Who's still watching in 2024? Who misses Ste Page?! I live in Mansfield, but in the UK!! I saw this, my favourite band, and wished it had been my home towm 😅 without Stephen Page, though... This band isn't what it used to be. RIP BNL. I didn't mean to break your heart.........
I miss this lineup so much, the songs were so fricken great. Saw them with Hootie a few years ago and they were fine, but it was just kind of sad because SP wasn't there. I cant believe it's been like 12 years since he left.
I was looking through some videotapes in my living room and found a recording of this exact show that my parents made off of pay-per-view. I think that's neat.
I've seen BNL 4 times and my first time in Oct 98 in Philly was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Every show of theirs was great but I was always bummed to not hear "Call and Answer" and "Break Your Heart" after that first time since they were both setlist standards. Thanks for sharing this, brings back some great memories.
I saw BNL in Club DV8 in Salt Lake City on Aug 8, 1997. What a show. Less than 300 people were in the club that night. We were at most 30 feet from the stage. Still my best concert of all time.
@@conormcginnity1353 no, they aren't reuniting. Never say never, but for every reunion you thought could never happen, there are a dozen that never do.
1:15:40. I'm not sure if anyone else noticed, but when Tyler plays that lick on the snare drum, that is actually the rhythm part of the first few notes of the Super Mario Bros. theme! Makes me laugh real hard every time. Also, I saw them on this tour in Dallas, about a month after this show. Pretty much the only show where I was actually UNFAMILIAR with their "classic" material, and singing along with the stuff from the new album! All I had ever heard from back in the day was "If I Had $1,000,000," and even that one I didn't know like the back of my hand at the time. Over the years, I have become more and more familiar with their old stuff, up to the release of the two new songs from "Disc One." To this day, "Brian Wilson" is one of my favorites of theirs to play on the guitar, as well as "1,000,000." Anyways, great show from a great band on a great tour!
It's amazing: Not only were they the best singing group I ever saw, but the best comedy group, too. Not since the Beatles...(Don't laugh; I saw "Magical Mystery Tour" on the BBC on Boxing Day, 1967. I know me some Beatles.)
For any BNL fans, or music fans in general...if you haven't had the pleasure of seeing a show @Comcast Center aka (Great Woods) in Mansfield MA, Ur missing out!
I was at this show. Embarrassed to say that I peaked too early and spent most of the show puking 🤢 in the great woods bathrooms. But I’m proud that I rallied and I remember this epic Call & answer finale. To the lady whose shoes I puked 🤢 on in tbe opening act….I’m so sorry
gammelhund I can't believe it's come to pass already lol. Next generations.. My friends and I were into BNL and basically 60's and 70's stuff Back then. One of the biggest never ending debates we would get into is BNL versus the dead as far as the loyalty and love of their fans, and the dedicated following they had. One argument went: "As absolutely kickass as they are, nobody will ever spend 30 years with next generations like the dead.." And I said "Yeah.. Talk to me in twenty years, and we shall see! Just like the grateful dead they're timeless... But BNL has got Steven Page's voice along with a chemistry that's never been seen like Steve and Ed's, so I predict they'll be comparable in history if not surpass.." so thank you.. Our next get together this is coming out lol. 😁
So cool to see a show from 1999...they were my first show in 2007. TBH some of the songs are so experimental and weird (I Live With It Everyday) and it's so cool to hear them.
Born on a pirate ship is my fave album and it’s such a mishmash of styles it’s awesome. As with most Bnl songs the lyrics behind the ‘cheery’ hook is quite serious, live with it everyday being one of my faves that’s definitely fits in that category
I am always amused to see couples looking dewey eyed, and holding each other closer on Break Your Heart. It's not a love song. It's an anti love song. Like people who play I Will Always Love You at their wedding. She's breaking up with him. Although their songs are almost all great, if they aren't funny or cute, they tend to be dark. Some are misled because the melody often belies the lyric.
It’s not BNL without both Steve and Ed …… 😔 Come on guys ?!?? You both love music , why not join back up ??? What 14 years …… don’t be like every other good rock band , only lady 6-9 years !!! Look at The Rolling Stones !!!! It’s time to put childish feelings away The band is bigger than both of you , and it was a treasure
As an American I can say, Canadian humor beats American humor by a Km and they beat British humor by a mile and a half... I just wish this issst loaded faster.
Crustacean. Crustaceans (Crustacea /krʌˈsteɪʃə/) form a large, diverse arthropod taxon which includes such familiar animals as crabs, lobsters, crayfish, shrimp, krill, woodlice, and barnacles. ... Like other arthropods, crustaceans have an exoskeleton, which they moult to grow. hahaha
Is it just me, or is the lobster song at around 1:13:47 almost identical to Seth Macfarlane’s Iraq lobster? I think Family Guy took it from the Barenaked Ladies.
