At first I thought he was a passenger sitting in the rear seat! It would be almost impossible to control the car from that slouched position in an emergency. Maybe obese Americans all drive like that and therefore why so many of them spin out on icy roads as I've seen in recent videos from the frozen US?
Wow, this video brought back so many memories ! My Dad was inducted into the New York Sports Hall of Fame the same year as Jake LaMotta. (1992) And I graduated from Seton Hall Law School on Raymond Blvd in Newark. Great Law School but Newark was not a place you wanted to be at night in the 70's and 80's. I used to jog to the train station to catch the Erie Lackawanna train back to Dover before it got dark !
Newark is not even in the top ten of the most dangerous cities in New Jersey. Camden and Trenton have much higher crime rates. Lee, we have to get you to Blondies in Manhattan. Those are the best wings and fries.

Scampi and buffalo don't HAVE wings! - - That burger was only partially cooked, still pink inside, which says the grille was too hot, so the outside burned before the inside cooked. Great for getting the 'trots'.
I saw you comment about burgers not being cooked inside because the grill was to hot,that’s not the reason it’s because a lot of Americans like their burgers pink inside,and no we don’t get sick.I have been eating my burgers medium rare since I came to the States 59 years ago,and have never been sick from one yet.I feel sorry every time I see people at home ( England) eating their burgers so overcooked.

Visited the battleship New Jersey and the Victor Pub in Camden NJ, around that area is fine but my cab driver who grew up locally said a few blocks away is heroin zombies (his own words)...
I'd need much smaller portions personally, but I thought the onion rings looked great and nicely browned. The burger looked nice and meaty, I could manage one of those I think. I've never heard of scampi wings before, it was mentioned that they were shrimps/prawns though, when proper scampi should only ever be langoustines. Nice video.

A friend lived in New Jersey, right across from the Bridge. Even though there was a lot of organized crime influence there was little local crime … nobody called the cops, they just took care of things by themselves! ( Do NOT bother Made Guys!!!)
Another first class production Lee. It had the appearances of clip from The Sopranos, one of my favorites of all time. Krug’s Tavern looked amazing, clean, patriotic, and a burger that could feed a small family. David is perfect for this V-log. He could have stepped right off The Sopranos set, complete with his beautiful black Denali. Damien is the needed third man to make the trio of “Tony’s guys” complete. I’m sure Tony would have had a comment on that $88. check, kinda steep but the food appeared to be worth the money. Thank you for the excellent entertainment on a very cold Chicago evening.
I use to enjoy you Lee, but the food/Tech/ Ecar not really my thing,, however the Tenerife/New York/ East Coast stuff is fine. I un- subscribed about a year ago, but still watch some stuff, as long as it's not UK based Food/Tech/Car reviews...I guess we move on and change, but for me more travel and more different locations, however a cost comes with that... Good work but less UK and more overseas...

The area of Krug's 🍔 is not a bad area. I was on the Police Dept. in Newark for 25 years 👮 The spicy shrimp are very good. A lot of great Portuguese restaurants, not far from there.
Those burgers looked awful and who cooks a burger on a hot plate like that! I swear considering they claim to have invented the burger, I’ve seen better burgers from a van in a lay-by on the A14!

Mmmm Ecoli and salmonella burgers , why do people order burgers not cooked through? It’s not a steak!! It has bacteria inside and out , steak only has it on the surface hence why you can eat it rare/medium etc….restaurants shouldn’t be allowed to sell it to the uniformed.
Here local authority can enforce their own regulations eg , burgers made from ready minced beef must be wholly cooked through but if restaurant prepares on mince from whole steaks etc then they can be served medium rare .
These big chicken wings reminds me of similar ones I had when I was in Scottsdale (Phoenix), Az back in October 2022. I enjoy good flame grilled burgers 🍔

i'm about 40 minutes from Buffalo, across the river. We visit frequently, pre & post covid for groceries, gas, and/or booze, and occasionally a night out. . . With restaurants post covid, cash is king, no bill, no tax, no service fees, otherwise, fuck'm, we go elsewhere. I gotta say, Buffalo has great choice for wings (obviously), pizza & pasta, burgers, steak sandwiches, deli foods, . . . We've been "across the river" for 20+ years and we're still finding different places to dine. Your wings looked average, and dry, probably over fried. Your burgers, thats horse meat with the heart still pumping. . . Rings overcooked in same fryer used for fries and wings with dirty old cooking oil that needs changed. Good on ya for taking care of your waitress. Love your optimism with a diet coke.
