England is expensive. That makes other places seem cheap. Britain has a very very large benefits program that is used to its Max. That makes everything expensive as got to cover outlays. Apparently 56% of the population in Britain are on some sort of gov benefit assistance.

I live in Spain and these are the last people I would ever mix with. We live inland and learn and speak Spanish. We go to the coast sometimes and if we go into a bar or restaurant we speak Spanish and get so much more service than the none Spanish speaking brits

Ants does not look like a qualified group fitness instructor in my professional opinion. The female instructor at the pool is the real deal in contrast. Also, classes are all about numbers of participants - if you don’t attract participants, you don’t get to keep your class, it will be given to another instructor. That’s how it is.

Brits luv love to aggle. They don’t pronounce the ‘h’ in haggle. I learned that from Monty Python’s movie ‘Life of Brian’. ‘’E won’t aggle!” 😅

I put this comment as a reply to another post. But thought I'd repeat it on its own post.....so....IMHO.... People living there want to basically have everything as British as possible, but without the shit weather and sky-high living expenses. And what's wrong with that? Everyone's a winner - Spain makes tens of millions of Euros a year from the Brits, and the Brits get to live cheaply in the sun.... no one is hurting anyone. In fact, quite the opposite - from what I can see, there appears to be a lovely little community that has sprung up, who certainly seem happier than the grumpy, moaning old twats that you come across daily back here in the miserable old UK. Here we are, almost May, and all we've had is fcking cold and rain all of April. You know what....fck it, I'm coming out there to get myself a caravan and live in the sun amongst some happy and smiley people...see ya soon..... lol 😆 ❤️ ☀️👍🇪🇸🇬🇧

That Mr.Skippy bloke, he has got some proper issues going on. I am pretty sure if it wasn't for the six kids (who were noticably absent....embarassed probably) I am sure his wife would have left him long ago. My idea of a NIGHTMARE! Home from home? English food……Why go abroad? Stay at home in the UK so the more cultured of us can have some peace and quiet while on holiday. Then again it might be better they stay in Benidorm. Keeps them away from the decent places in the world.
