that's what greedy selfish people do ... they have 100k to throw on a car or 50k on vacation, but if they need to pay even 100 to a customer, then they are willing to cry and whine for years that "i have no money"
@@essexa777 yeah ... i'm so fed up with such people. greed is a disease. I'm not saying you should throw money out randomly, but you gotta THINK if it's worth whining over. I can understand if you can buy same exact item for cheaper .. then go for it, but if it means that you must wait a lot longer and then go get it yourself .. is it really worth it? comfort costs .. that's what those rich greeders don't realize. just because you CAN save, doesn't mean you should save. If I had the money, i rather pay premium to have headache free life, than argue over pennies here and there.
The thing is, a holiday can be a gift, a car can belong to a partner, you can be skint in the papers. It's all about the papers and the ways that can be done are multiple and hard to spot. If it works,it works. If it's not, tough s*it. It's not like they will kill you. So yeah, from a debtor point of view is worth it. Especially if you are talking about a lot of money.
... yet another one, drives a performance Mustang and instantly "I HAVE NO MONEY GET OUT OF HERE", how are those people not embarassed? I'd feel ashamed and embarassed to step out of 50k car and whine "i have no money", that's just pathetic...
probably because many times it "just works" Not everyone is willing and able to spend time and money to go through the courts. Out of all the people he's probably stiffed, this one is perhaps the first one he's really had to pay.
My thoughts too, yet trespassers have far more rights than the land owner does. The fact that the Sheriffs would be breaking the law if they cut off the locks to gain entry is insane. The land does not belong to the squatters and has been stolen. The older I get the more I realise that indeed, the law is an ass.
"Travelers" are the WORST. They will have huge incanpments, with no trash or sewage systems. So they litter everything. They travel around town stealing anything they can get. Then they sell their stolen things on & the rest is thrown somewhere to be someone else's issue. And the trash heps looks like bigandfills. There are also other sanitary risks. Bcs they may throw away human waste in parks etc. So they havoc they cause is huge. The people who don't scam or steal may beg and even some prostitution.. Their kids aren't in school, they are running rampage without supervision at the camp & around. Groups of kids going into stores stealing, onto other peoples properties, throwing stones at cars etc Then IF you manage to get all the forces lined to get them out they will leave all that waste, hazard & nightmare behind for the landowner to pay to be sanitised & trash thrown away properly with is expensive AF.. It takes huge police, council, private & judicial resources to get them out bcs they use lefties to start protests & pester anyone saying no to them. They start whining about human rights bla bla. Like it's a human right to destroy someone else's land.. They do this for a living. It's a lifestyle, they are proud to "stand outside" society. They think it's their right to scam, steal & destroy bcs of their choices.. They know the laws & how to use gullible idiots to their advantage.. They are an absolute nightmare beyond ANY other type of squatter & moves in bigger groups. Huge caravan parks will pop up. Any land they feel is good for them- they will set up on & start do destroy beyond belief...
I feel bad for Gary M, he worked his whole life, finally he was going to have his dream car,Sweet Jaguar, Because the owner of the garage wanted to be grimy he didnt get his dream car..Then he got his hopes up again thinking his dream car was going to be finished and within a month he would be driving it just to be let down again and he never got his dream Jaguar..😕😔..thankfully he got the money owed but its not the same as getting his dream to come true..I could tell by the way he talked he didnt care about the money, Money can be made everyday, That car was a once in a lifetime opportunity:/ ..Hopefully he did something for himself with the payout ❤
There's a place in hell for anybody that gets in the way between a shop and a man's Jaguar. It looks like hell hit Tester's shop. At least Gary got his money back. There are legitimate Jaguar restorers in England. I know, I had two E-Types back in the day. If I get another Jaguar it won't come from that shop, which is still in operation as of August 2, 2024. Any ideas on how (who) started the fire? Guess. If I was the insurance adjuster I would really roll up my sleeves and find out.
I am coming from Europe, and to see how much freedom gipseys have around here is amazing. Same situation in Germany and all would end up in prison for quite some time, plus free work to pay the damage. England is just a criminal paradise. Do what you want, they will leave you alone.
Weeel, unless, of course, your Victim happens to be someone high profile like the Leader of the Labour Party, at that point, your arrest and trial, if at all, is rushed and you're locked up for the rest of your life.
@@flashstudiosguy no mate, there is no privilege, we are all equal. And that, ladies and gentleman is our ,, lie of the day,, see you tomorrow for more
@jony6107 If we're all equal, then why the Hell have we got wars? Surely, to declare war on someone, you have to feel either superior or inferior to someone else?
How old are you? There are many reasons for war. If Hitler hadn't been defeated you'd be singing a different tune. Maybe you could study history before your dribbly unformed opinion.
What annoys me about this series is the amount of filling and padding out of the episodes. Playing the same videos over in every episode, claiming to be able to help you if you are in this position, yet in the actual episodes the Sheriffs actually fail most of the time. 🤔🙄
@@S.TradesI get someone's gotta do it but I just couldn't go up to an elderly woman that lives alone being 3 times her size and threatening to take her stuff
@@RU-vidr_user321 she could easily have dealt with this, before the agents visit? And thsts kind of an extreme example. You can't borrow money etc and refuse to repay it. Taking someones stuff is the very last resort and something they don't want to do. But some people really just refuse to pay.
@@S.Trades yeah but I do feel like they act nice for the cameras but are sort of bullies aswell also they act as if they've never done any wrong in their life which is hypocritical. Idk if they have ever fallen on hard times or been in poverty but surely if they have they wouldn't do it cos they'd be able to relate? Also it'd make me laugh if the government changed the law where you only get put into prison instead of getting your stuff taken ( which is theoretically possible) cos then they would be out of the job 😂
@@S.Trades but totally if they are refusing and can't be bothered of course action should be taken but if someone can't then for me it's a different situation
Horrible selfish people will take and take all part of the I want now attitude, yuck. Why is the Law so wet? Get the travellers to clear up, arrest them, make them pay do some punishment. Garage owners threaten, gang up, and then the police arrive; nothing happens; no wonder the thugs do what they like.
that's UK for you, where criminals are put above victims. Why do you think so many scammers and criminals go to UK? they literally go there to do crime .. and then they wonder why they have so many foreign scammers causing problems. They need to be STRICT and give victims the right to fight back with whatever means necessary! if this was in America, they'd get shot if they occupy someone's property like this.
Actually, I have seen some episodes where the Owners themselves call the Police as a way of getting rid of the Sheriffs (Let's be fair, the majority ARE hulking great giants in uniforms, so it's pretty easy to claim "there are two large men in my house/place of business and they're threatening me unless I give them money or my stuff!"), only to be gobsmacked when the Police take one look at the writ and say "Sorry, chum, but we work for the High Court as well. Kindly step aside and let the gentleman behind us pick up that TV you're attempting to block or we'll arrest you for obstruction..."
With high court enforcement in the shop, he should have told them to take the goods in order to recover the balance. He had a massive amount of leverage.
Disgusting people, another one says cant pay , holiday in Dubai, UK people why do we continue to use these lot? This program shows just what is really going on in the UK !
I swear some of the people who fail to show up to contest do so because they either know they have no leg to stand on or because the only authority they acknowledge is their own deluded sense.
With all the stuff that gets pitched at these guys I'm not surprised. Did you notice the screens on the windows and the screen that can be lowered to cover the windshield? For a good reason, I'm sure!
I know that the land owner wanted them off but it'd have been interesting to see what would have happened if they'd been locked in with all of their rubbish around them.
The law wouldn’t have allowed them to be locked in as the Sheriffs would have been charged with kidnapping or something. The invaders would claim if there was a fire they would be trapped too. The law is an ass and definitely is stacked in favour of the criminals.
"Hey mate, we packed up for you, we put as much trash as we could fit in your caravans then packed it all in neatly into 40 foot rubbish bins, put all the rest of the rubbish on top and had an excavator pound it all down, so now you owe the High Court 3,500 Pounds or work it off for a pound a day. from an HM prison on day release"
They should've Thrown ALL that Rubbish over the wall, Into the Carpark next door. They did move next door quickly. It's only fair that you Return All of their "Belongings/Rubbish" that they left behind, Bk over to them. I'm sure they would have appreciated it 👍😂🤣☠️🤣
Mr Garry doesn't care about money and doesn't want money but wants his dream car. he filed a claim in the high court not really wanting money but wanting his dream car to come true and be taken seriously by the scammer's classic car workshop.
if you'd learn to watch entire show, you'd know that he didn't get the car as garage as destroyed in fire. most likely another unhappy customer who rather burns the place down rather than take it to court.
@@perrybabin8427 old comment, but good point... might have been insurance scam, but i doubt it, because insurance would actually investigate the remains and determine if those were really the cars destroyed, insurance companies never want to pay, so they always look for excuses not to pay
Aggh !! The pain of this process!!! I was letting a property to a non-paying tenant, and even after going to Court they still did not leave. This went on for 10 months !!!! I actually ended up instructing this company to do the job and my tenant was gone in 4 weeks !! Can't recommend them enough. Safe to say, it put me off letting out my property for a long while :')
Exchanging cars without exchanging cars is a level of smart i can't understand. Unless he knew that he wont get a car in return and his car will be sold where he arranges that one of his friends buys the car, knowing that the buyback price can be much more than the real value.
I'm glad to hear that the scammer's garage was destroyed in fire, this is true justice! I'm guessing it was arsen by another unhappy customer. Let that be lesson to all of those scammers who think it's ok to scam customers and not give them their good nor the money.
I think that, after watching several of these episodes, back to back, I realise that these Sheriffs cannot help you at all if you are owed anything over £3k. These sheriffs are becoming soft and the laws that protect the perpetrators of fraud and law breaking need removing and new ones put in place. Perhaps it is time that some groups like the maf. Ia were employed to help victims as the law doesn’t want to help them. The fact that even Sheriffs are breaking the law if they remove a lock to get into an area that others have stolen/squatted in, is insane. Why so much protection given to law breakers and not to the owner? I think again we go back to bl air and his tenure in number 10. He started the idea that victims were not as important as the criminals
My friend is dating a loser who isn't working and doesn't pay when they go out. She tells me he owns some expensive cars that he could sell if he needs money. It's been 2 years and still no job and no cars sold. She doesn't want to admit he's a deadbeat.
Testers was a reputable company but after seeing how they treated the gentle man his money and dream. I would like to keep my money rather than dealing with Testers and I too would have been a customer for the jag of my own dreams
so its a crime for sheriffs to cut a lock off of a property they are trying to reclaim possesion on behalf of the owner, but the criminals who cut it off and gain entry are not charged or made out to be criminals. This cannot get any more stupider :D
I don't get that, because the sheriffs are well within their rights and means to snap their fingers and call out an on-demand 24-7 locksmith to unlock the door of anybody's home they repossess or take back from non paying or otherwise dodgy tenants then change the locks if they haven't taken out the old locks themselves. You see that numerous times on can't pay we'll take it away.
I saw that and thought how coppers in my day ALL looked just like that. One foul word to them and you got a thump. Guess what? Far more respect in those days. Nowadays they send a 4feet 11 inch woman copper to riots. Again, in my time they had woman coppers but they were for helping children cross the roads and so on. But at least the boxes are all ticked within the force nowadays.
being big and "fat" has got its uses. You can't run very far, but you can always sit on the ones you catch so that they don't get away (ok that's a mean comment, I apologise.)
Gary waited a year? I'd have waited a month before being on the doorstep with a bat in hand. As for the trespassers, wtf do they have rights? They have none as far as I'm concerned.
Any excuse aye! Saying he didn't receive anything telling him he hadn't paid the 500 a month on the payment plan he AGREED TOO. It's not their responsibility to tell him he hasn't paid the monthly payments, good greif ur a grown ass man and u know dam well u owe the money, u don't forget that. U wldnt forget if it was u that was owed the money. Honestly the excuses that come out of these people's gobbs is just so laughable
these guys really should have some kind of uniform and uniform policy. First step when dealign with the public is presentation.... and messy beards and ear rings dont cut it
Geez I’m going to move to the Uk. You can live for free and not pay rent or trespass and live on someone else’s property and they can’t get you off. Or if you owe a shit load of money you just change the name of the company and presto! You don’t have to pay. What a complete joke the laws are. Hey if you’re a crook and a cheat the law is on your side! If you are hard working law abiding citizens you are screwed.
There's nothing wrong with the lifestyle of travelers, but honestly have they heard of trash bags, recycling and reusing..I mean jeez that was absolutely disgusting..no matter where someone lives they can make it Home, just because they travel and dont settle doesnt mean they have to live so filthy and gross..unsanitary!! Wow whomever owns that land they occupied must have had a huge removal bill to clean that area up smh..Very disrespectful
Not defending the rubbish issues but just to put my knowledge to it. As travelers on an illegal site the is no bin/refuse service available no council trucks picking up as they do with house bins and businesses. also as most travellers drive vans or flatbeds you need a permit to use a waste tip if you have a van or pick-up truck which the council only allow once per month. I agree the state of rubbish on alot of sites especially illegal ones is appalling and really doesnt help quell the public unease or the stereotypes at all and there should be a system in place to allow either the sites or the council to actually offer some sort of waste removal. Again this is not me taking sides just alot of people don't know the details i have just mentioned. The lifestyle is my dream although i am not a traveller but work definitely needs doing on both sides to try and fit systems to aid not only the publics feelings and concerns but also the traveller community's needs.
So you think they should be able to occupy land owned by hard working people? They trash and steal and piss off to leave their mess for people to clean up and at the same time bizarrely leave plastic on their furniture in their vans. Also leave their sewage. Australia just deported a gang of Irish travellers who were terrorising communities. They live in a lawless world of their own. Disgusting. 🙄🦘
They always ask for the camera person to leave in England. I’ve noticed in America it’s part of our constitution. You can’t tell someone that they can’t film.
@@georgerichardson964Really? I know my very first car was a navy Ford Escort MkI and I remember feeling so happy when I sold it for £50 back in 1980/81!!!!
Agree…but I do like some of my these guys. Those shows caused a ton of legal and privacy issues for the networks and companies involved. They sued over the most absurd and ridiculous stuff. One person sued and then everyone followed. This show is the result of that. Its BS when you read about it.
@MeowZer_ing not always. There was one on these shows charged with break and enter after he broke into someone's house and refused to leave because he thought he had the right. He wouldn't listen to their lawyer, let alone the police officers. There was another one from these shows that was charged with assault after he forced his way into someone's home by physically pushing them through the door. I agree bailiffs are needed and have a job to do but they need to do it legally. The fact that bailiffs did/do get paid commission personally, gave way too much motivation to break the law to get money out of people
