The price is very good but I personally couldn’t live in one of these shoeboxes for very long, maybe a couple of weeks only The whole complex looks very nice but the very small size of the actual living quarters would be for me an issue

I don't have a good mental picture of where the complex is. One thing I'm trying to find is a wall sized map of Pattaya. I'm old and remember the old paper maps here in the US.

Many of these condos dont have basics like ceiling fans ?! Is it by design to compel the tenants to use airconditioning all the time & extract more money 😕 If an apartment does not have workable kitchen area & ceiling fans, its useless. Screw the swimming pools

I’ve checked out well over a hundred condos and apartments in Pattaya and only a small number have a ceiling fan, even the big budget ones don’t have one. Sorry, but no ceiling fan is not a big deal

@@PremierTraveler Pattaya weather is similar to Bombay, where I've spent most of my life. Except for the really hot months when I run the ac intermittently, at most other times a fan does the job of keeping the air circulating & cool. I'm preparing to shift to Pattaya in Oct this year & live there for a few years on retirement visa...perhaps permanently. Lack of ceiling fans means exponentially higher electricity bills. Pedestal fans dont give the same type of comfort. I had missed this detail ....this gonna make house hunting more tedious 🙄

Most condos here in Pattaya charge government rate for electric, which is 4.5 to 5.5BHT per unit, so if you’re running the air conditioning throughout the day your monthly bill won’t be too high. Alternatively you can buy a strong fan for 800BHT which will reduce your bill significantly

I agree that most condo's charge 4.5/5 baht per unit but smaller apartment blocks are charging 8 to 10 baht per unit which is extortionate. @@PremierTraveler
