That amount of epic work and the dealer wants it shipped back on a flatbed? Not even in a covered one? WOW, that was an eye opening disappointment. The detail is the best I have ever seen - PERIOD.
The centrecap of the wheels... one mistake: The bottom part of the emblem always has to show to the valve of the tyre! If you work at a Porsche dealer here in germany and don't do that...you get into trouble :D ( I learned the hard way )
Man, you guys took restoration to a whole new level. What a wonderful transformation on such a beautiful car. You probably upped the value by $30,000+! These 993 era Carreras are already valuable in okay condition but in mint condition, there a small fortune! Well done!
Mind blowing …and thanks to the perfect sparepart availability of Porsche even after so many years ! You really made it ❤️ I love all the small details like repainting the screws …
It's not just that it is cathartic to watch; or even that you do such an amazing job; your focus for detail; but it's the fact that another classic car is made to look beautifully new and SAVED!
Amazing resto and top class work. The dry ice concept is fantastic for classics and much less intrusive than walnut shells or garnet. Only change I would have done is left off the Carrera badge and simply put a 911 decal on. 😎
Awesome Job, You should be proud of it. FYI for next jobs: Porsche logo tip on the wheels hub ALWAYS have to point to the air valve, this comes from the old days of Porsche racing and how they could quickly find the air valves in dark rims.
It is incredible what dry ice cleaning machine can do. That plus a profesional detailer + pdr techinique + profesional polishment and stunning result, just like a deep restoration. Great job!
Amazing job. Gave me some ideas for mine. Small point but purists tell me the pointy part of the porsche crest on the wheel should face the valve stem. Picky point but just the same :) beautiful.
impresionante trabajo de restauracion de detalle de ese porshe carrera, quedo hermoso, mejor que nuevo, de verdad que nunca habia visto una restauracion extrema tan perfecta, y me gusto mucho el lavado con maquina de iones .
That was an incredible result guys. The whole time as I'm watching those pieces of Porsche unobtainaium being put on the car, my thought was that the replacement parts bill will probably cost more than the original price of the car.
It’s been a long while since I watched your video but I said it before and will now again. Money well spent. You are an artist. Much success. There is something so very soothing , watching this detail and refurbishment
The superb quality of the original Porsche paint job allowed this transformation to happen. Fantastic work. It would be interesting to know what the total cost of this rehab would be.
Like I’ve said, seeing what it was to what it has turned out I would have said “ That’s impossible “. Man, you guys are just on another level. Just amazing work! Still can’t believe it…
