Great photos with the music. Barnabas was my favorite . Ran home everyday after school to watch with my mom. Even when he didn’t speak his eyes and facial expressions did. Jonathan Frid being the leading man was on many days in a row. Best vampire of all that have played a vampire.
Black and white definitely made it more gothic, but as the series progressed, the colors added a depth that could never have been truly captured in black and white!
Barnabas always had a certain look to him when he was about to drink someone's blood. His eyes would have dark circles around them, and his mandible would seem to hang a little lower to make room for the fangs.
Too bad it did not last on air long enough to have appropriate and/or happy endings for all players. Network new bosses tossed out all the true classics between 1969 to 1972. We all must hate them/curse them. They represented a new generation of idiot managers.
LOL hardly. The show and stories were always good vs evil. Barnabas overcame his evil nature and was cured and then he became the Anti Hero on the show, often saving members of his family from harm. Barnabas fought demons and monsters and Human monsters. It was good vs. evil.
