I own an XP 350. I've had it about a year and have yet to pull back on the string's. It just sits in my closet along with a few bugout packs. I like it though. Had a barnett a few years back. I'm only 5'4" tall and a out 140 pounds. I don't find it too long for some reason, but do wish it was about a pound lighter. I'm used to carrying the M-16 and the weight feels pretty much the same with a full magazine. Anyway.... Hope you keep getting them deer. I'm going to hunt wild hogs at some point.
Thanks for your comment and you know I haven’t really paid it much attention as far as weight or it’s been a while since I have touched mine as well and can’t really remember the weight of it but with the axel to axel distance being much narrower than others in the same budget range that’s where I was like yes it’s a win easy to move around with I don’t feel like I am holding a boat paddle sideways lol thanks and beside a bugout bag is a good place for it Unfortunately I can’t really do much hunting or fishing in the last year had some health problems come up that’s why no videos but I’m trying to talk my wife into reviewing some more budget items that has a little more thump to them. Thanks for watching and if you are use to caring a m16 must be a service member if so THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
@@God_Famiily_Fishing ..I hope your health improves. I know what that's like. I have a few issues that have prevented me from going out and doing what I used to do.. Camping, hunting, hiking, fishing. I miss the outdoors being alone with nature and a nice campfire. Oh well, I'm 62 year's old. I've had my experiences where other's never get to do. Thanks. I was in the Air force. But was a security policeman. And carried the M-16 and a S&W .38 revolver everyday.
Nice that’s worth what you paid right there and it’s still fairly early in the season na don’t have to keep up with the Jones to have a good time glad you got a kill
Hi, bought this crossbow, killed a deer first time out. Forget that it is inexpensive, it is compact, powerful and accurate. Had a Barnett Quad 400 and Recruit, this was cheaper and better than those. BARNETT makes good crossbows.
It's doe season for me now cant shoot a buck till next year since I live in Wyoming didn't draw my other tags maybe next year I'll get them type 3 is any whitetail that's what I really want to hunt during the rut
I honestly only shot it 3-4 times and yes seems a little loud but put some silencer on it that will help you I didn’t do anything except sight it in and killed me a deer worked great for me other than the red dot was off
Thanks for your comment I like mine also there good crossbow for the price I killed a deer my first hunt with it. Hope he has the same luck Thanks again Christine
I just got this crossbow am trying to assemble it wondering it says remove string wrap don’t know what that means, also it seems very tight is that normal
Wax the string very good especially the part that slides on bottom ya can’t wax it good once it’s together. I didn’t read the directions really just looked to see if it had something to cover the string on bottom
@@God_Famiily_Fishing I haven't shot it yet I am gonna shoot it today if I didn't throw my target bag away I have some new ones and some 3d deer and elk and black bear targets coming Wednesday. The bows brand new out if box never used some things about it could be better like the bottom of the grip.is massive and I wish the trigger pull wasn't 4 and a half pounds but compared to some handguns it's a comfortable trigger pull
It’s not the best thing in the world but for the price it’s well worth it so not waste time or money on the cheaper one at Walmart get this one or the other more expensive ones
Hey, hello, I want to ask, with the use of its CNC aluminum alloy arrow track, the black paint will wear off, revealing the primary color of aluminum alloy, especially the inner side of the track. Does this wear have a great impact on accuracy?
Yes it does it’s you cut the rope to your size I killed a deer last year with it and got one this year as well 2 shots to sight in reddot and two shots in two deer not bad both have been 30 yards away and both bolts went slam thru the deer this year the crossbow is $50 cheaper there $204 plus tax Walmart
I uae 20 inch carbon express green and white flexht bolt with 125 gr garvedigger braodheads and its dead on 1 inch grouo at 30 yards easy .been pefrct for me this year
Justin Bennett I use 4$ bolts from Walmart with a cheap set of fixed blade broad heads that’s $5 for a pack of 3 and made several kills this year at 30 yards and neither deer has ran over 50ft before falling dead now at 30 yards the bolt has shot through everything I put them through and I did loose one bolt I had problems finding the other two bolts also I would suggest getting a good target if you plan on target practice much the cheap foam targets will not stop the bolts even at 30-50 yards. Hope you got the info you was after man good luck be safe and happy hunting
