@@Norimarisu thank you!! I refused to even watch the last season because of the ending plus Barney and Robin were the only reason I started watching the show
@@tiasingh2542 life isn’t perfect, but the ending wasn’t realistic at all. Actually it was totally forced and unrealistic, and everything fits together perfectly to let Ted being with Robin without any guilt ( - Tracy dies, Robin divorces for pathetic reasons). I appreciated Tracy’s death, cause sadly in real life horrible tragedies happen, but definitely not Ted and Robin together in the end. That was 🙈
@@tiasingh2542well that’s just plain stupid fiction isn’t real life yeah real life sucks but the reason we watch fiction is to escape real life just cause somethings realistic doesn’t make it good storytelling
Schmosby shippers always justify themselves by saying “they fought a lot they weren’t meant to be” but that’s the reality of marriages tbh. What I love about the show is that they added reality into it so that’s what makes it different and so special from the other shows. The show gave us a picture perfect marriage as well (Lily and Marshall) but what Robin and Barney had was special. It’s the way they both were so scared of commitment but they trusted each other and felt safe with each other’s company that they committed to each other and honestly that’s effing beautiful. The marriage didn’t end because they stopped loving each other but because they didn’t have time to be with each other which was killing them both, Barney loved Robin enough to let her go because he knew how hard she’d worked to get where she was and he didn’t want to be the reason she abandoned her dreams. I’m not saying schmosby shippers are wrong because we all have opinions and that’s ok, but I personally think Barney Stinson and Robin Scherbatsky were endgame.
to be honest, i cannot even take anything against Barney and Robin fighting seriously, when Ted and Robin were fighting because of different VALUES and GOALS, which is like the biggest sign that a couple shouldn't be together, lol. and for me, it will always be about that scene when Ted was complaining to Robin that he didn't feel needed in their relationship, and then Robin coming to Barney and him telling her that's what makes her the most awesome person he's ever met... i mean c'mooon, could the endgame be any clearer, lol? we all know the divorce didn't make sense, they didn't even try to make it make sense, they just stubbornly wanted the ending they envisioned in season 1, ignoring all the development the show went through all 8 following seasons... how stupid can you be to sabotage and undermine your own decade-long work, it's really fascinating, lol.
It’s not the fact that robin and barney fought a lot,it’s the fact that they never really communicated in their relationship the way ted and robin did. That’s why no one knew robin better than ted did
@@ΣεβάσμιοςΑποστολάκηςTed and Robin fought and argued the entire show never got along made each other worse because Ted was still hung up on her. They never grew as people because of Ted’s delusions obsession with her. The only one who truly got to know Robin and respected her is Barney. Because they started out as friends who end up being soulmates… from the beginning. Robin found who she is because of Barney’s love for her. He didn’t just start loving her in season three he loved her from the beginning since he met her. They got along because they understood each other best. They never put each other down because of uncommon things. They had the same views about life and made sense that they would find a real relationship with each other through their close friendship. Nobody I mean nobody got Robin like Barney does. And nobody got Barney like Robin. She saw him without goggles. She saw the real him and fell for him because she saw him as her partner. She needed to be with Barney (not in the needy way) they were just partners in the most unexpected way. Sometimes life is unexpected these two are the king and queen of unexpected but they were meant to be despite all the issues they had before and after they met and fell in love. There was nobody who Robin belonged with more than Barney he grew because of his true love for Robin and Robin saw him differently than anyone else. Because she truly knows him.
I'm YELLING and it's 3 am. I heard this song for the first time and instantly thought of these two. This is absolutely gorgeous 😭 might sound lame, but you truly made my dreams come true by vidding them to this song lol
hahah, thank you!! 🤩 i think everyone immediately connects it to one ship, lol. (tbh i think this song was made even more for rory&jess, but i wanted these two to have its vid as well.))
The way the are so similar & their differences balance each other is such a thing of beauty! I'll never get over how they were each others best friend home true love and however broken or lonewolfish they always came back to each other I miss them I hate they ruined season 9 in that finale not just swarkles but the mother too!
honestly, they both do 🥺 totally hated how dirty they did Robin as well, having to go back to Ted in the end, when their actual dialogue in S7 went: "I think you know how you feel about me, and I don't think time is gonna change that. Do you love me?" "No..." ... literally, that does not compute.
omggg I was just feeling nostalgic for these two and was searching for new vids of them.. I’m so glad I found this!! Incredible work, this song works so well for them.. even though technically not really since as you said they ended up happily together.. hahahaHA the pain. Ahh your scene placement for the lyrics was amazing. “I thought I saw you at the bus stop” and “you hit the ground running”.. so perfect! And omg “we never painted by the numbers” with the quote “you’re not just another number to me” AHH sorry just this whole thing is perfect. Beautiful work instantly subbed, so glad I found your channel!
ahhh, thank you SO MUCH ❤️ means a looot coming from you, you're such a great vidder!! :) and thanks also for spotting the lyrics matching 🤩 of course, to be honest, the line "I thought I saw you at the bus stop" was written for Rory&Jess, with the "That's not her!" scene, but I did what I could here too hahaha.
Their love wasn't perfect but it was beautiful... Maybe they didn't work out but they will always love each other 😭💝....still can't believe the writers did dirty to them 😔
for me they are the endgame, i created an alternative ending because it's unbearable for me they don't end up together, especially after everything that happened so they're my endgame and ted gets the guitar woman who i can't remember the name anymore.
i just finished watching this and i swear to go you cant make me accept that ending. They said it's realistic, but it just looked like the series is a constant giving Robin to Barney and Ted. The ending just seemed unfair.
They say it’s realistic but it is not. Tracy’s death is realistic. I agree with that. But that doesn’t imply all the other events of the finale. Barney and Robin’s divorce is literally out of nowhere and inconsistent, and Ted coming back with Robin is either unrealistic or very squalid. The whole shows demonstrates that Ted doesn’t really love Robin but he’s in love with the romantic idea of her, and Robin simply doesn’t love Ted and that’s it. On the contrary, Robin and Barney literally can't help but love each other, even against their will and all their fear. Robin in particulr, she cannot go back to Ted after choosing Barney. Is the ending actually realistic? I seriously din’t think so. Tragedies happen, and that’s all. They don’t happen to let you coming back with the one you idolized for a decade and then forgot for having children with another woman and then wanted again. Oh, and she divorced with no serious reason and remained single for a almost two decades waiting for you to become a widower and arrive with a blue horn, lol 🙈 (Long story short: yes, I agree with you, I totally agree with you).
@daniela caycho they say “it’s realistic” just because it is not the plain classic happy ending… but NOT everything different from “happily ever after” is realistic and this is not realistic at all. Also, I bet that all the people saying it’s realistic are just Ted+Robin stans and they are just glad the two of them are together in the end, no matter how…
i am forever in denial about the ending, this edit is amazing, i am now off to rewatch himym for the seventh time (excluding that alleged series finale cause that's just badly written fanfic)
What? They are good together because they never stopped coming back to each other, they never stopped having feelings about each other, also ted was always there for her(she said it herself anyway) and fell in love with her since the first time he ever saw her,the ending was definitely poor but saying they weren’t good together is a stretch
I starting to watch this show (I’m S3 now) and I really like Robin and Barney Chemistry, and now finding out their story... it makes me really hurt 😢 How can I accept their love story? That they’re been together to grow and to improve not as a couple, but for their own self. 💔
