It's crazy to see how being suspended really hurts a team's morale. Jack laughs it off because he was a hard headed emotional player (why we love him) but you can tell from Matt's and BD's reaction that being suspended wasn't cool and that it ultimately hurt the team. From their response, you get the sense that they can still feel the absence of Jack and the hole that was left in those 7 games. Damn...

Baron Davis, one of my personal favorites. Growing up in SoCal, always loved local LA hoops and Southland hoops. Spring time at undergrad in UC Irvineand have some free time. We know the HS bball playoffs were going on and the finals were at UCI's Bren Center. A few of my buddies and I went to watch Santa Monica Crossroads vs OC team Santa Ana Calvary Chapel. One of those games Baron was destroying everyone on the court. Still a relatively tight game and memorable as during one point in the game, not a single Calvary Chapel defender guarded Baron and he just held on the ball for several minutes. CC is only 10 miles from the Bren Events center and Crossroads about 50 miles away, so the pro CC crowd was booing Baron and he was just there, holding the ball with a smile on his face. When CC then decided to guard him, he went on to score buckets and close the show for a title Win. Love Baron.

I need a Jason Richardson interview with his perspective on all the trades that created the We Believe team beginning with bringing in BD... He was the home-grown hero who got light-weight overshadowed by BD and Cpt. Jack... and as a child-ass fan I always thought he seemed to accept it graciously/humbly given how he balled out when he came back from his injury.

That team was such a problem man. Don Nelson running the show, Baron Davis, Al Harrington, Mikel Pietrus, Matt Barnes, Stephen Jackson, Speedy Claxton, this was the Dubs before Curry, Klay and Draymond. TRUE Warrior fans remember this team and what they did. They smoked the #1 seed Mavericks who won 60+ games and then gave Utah fits. I still remember Baron Davis' legendary baseline dunk on AK - 47 easily a Top 25 dunk all time. Mikell Pietrus part had me crying. Jason Terry Ola. As well as Stak. BD a LOC.
