JC, I’m sorry that you lost Mika. She was a beautiful dog and reminds me much of my first dog who I lost to cancer some years ago. Dogs truly become an invaluable addition to our family. I feel your pain and I’m right there with you.

Sorry to lose your dog in such a sad way. I have had a passion for dogs all my life but limit myself to walking dogs from a local shelter. I compare dogs and pets in general to barbed wire. You can cling to it but it hurts to let go of it. As much as with blood relatives and best friends.

Thanks Buddy, my dogs are truly my 4-legged children. I am around them 24/7. The loss of Mika ripped my heart out. Her twin brother, Nitro, turned 15 today (12/24/07). He is scaring me right now. JC, losing a beloved pet can be devastating and more so due to unfortunate circumstances. I feel for you, I truly do. Thanks for this review of an interesting airgun, I love my Crosman PFAM9B for its full-auto mode! It's super fun. I guess this one would be too! The only small drawback that I can see is that the CO2 magazine doesn't have openings on each side of the CO2 cartridge, so no way to wrap your hand around it to warm it up a little faster between magazine refills. Anyway, you can always have 2 magazines as you did here. Thanks for sharing and take care!

@@AirgunDetectives You're welcome. BTW after viewing this review, I took out my Glock 17 Gen 4 replica (also from KWC) and noticed how incredibly similar this Barra 009 is to the Glock. The magazine looks identical, the magazine release button, the slide lock lever, the trigger with the double safety, the sights, the teardown levers. Only the grips and trigger enclosure and slide are slightly different. Oh, and of course, the Glock doesn't offer a full-auto mode selector.

First and foremost, I'm terribly sorry about the passing of your dog. It's something that I've gone through myself, and like you said, its definitely no different then losing a family member...the pain is just as intense. Please accept my condolences. Regarding the airgun, its awesome. I was pretty close to buying it quite a few times but I backed out for whatever reason. I wish the FPS were a bit higher, but overall it's a cool pistol. Thanks for doing this video. The fact that your going through a rough time and posted this anyway is very much appreciated. Your reviews are great...thanks and hang in there.

Mike, her loss will haunt me indefinitely. She took a chunk of my heart with her. She would have been 15 today (12/24). I still have her brother Nitro, so he actually is 15 today, but unfortunately, he seems to be suffering from a broken heart. Have a great Christmas, and thank you for the thoughtful message.

I feel sorry for the loss of your dog. Pets included, I've had over 7 friends and family die on me since I was 17... I'm 25 now. The gun however, is AWESOME! It looks mostly Glock, with hints of S&W, maybe some SIG. Plus, it's got the fun switch? Oh yeah. To me, it's the perfect combination of most modern, striker-fired PD issued semi-autos, and I'll be buying this gun next.

I was wondering ( back to the subject BB pistol here ) have you tried out steel BB's and compared them to those Zinc BB's? I mean in speed, ricochet, accuracy etc. You mention that you like zinc BB's, and so would I if they perform better than steel. Ricochet is a concern with BB's we all know this, so if a softer metal will reduce this, then I'll use zinc first.

The Zink BBs are indeed steel, they are just coated. On average they have been the best performers in all my BB guns. They are much cleaner than the copper coated ones. Happy Shooting 👍🏻

@@AirgunDetectives Yea. My go-to steel BBs been mostly the Umarex and ASG Blasters - which seem to be the exactly same to me. Walther then seems to have a small golden-yellowish tint to them - but performs as good. Never been a fan of Crosman Copperheads - but I still do own that one first can than I bought of them. As on the BB subject: Got two tins of Gamo Round lead BBs. One really old one - which BBs are even not exactly round - so my old Daisy Powerline 93 BB pistol jammed lots with them. But the new tin seems to have really smooth and nice BBs. Bought with intention to test shoot with my Umarex Morph pistol-rifle kit, which shoots damn hard.

I bought my 009 when they were 1st out from Barra and shot probably 500 bb's though it and the hammer broke. The hammer is a cast metal. And takes most of the abuse internally. Disappointed, I had to send it back. Just be aware. I don't know if they fixed this issue or not. Also, I concur with everything you said in the review. 💯 FFANTASTIC GUN !!! 👍 ❤🇺🇸

Like I said it may not mean much but you inspired me into the airgun hobby, I know it may not seem like much but we all make a difference in people's life in some way. Damn man you just ruined my morning I was watching all these reviews from you on full auto BB guns I just saw the opening to this video with a beautiful woman shooting a Halloween jack-o-lantern and then you took the wind right out of my sail telling me how your dog drowned in the pool I'm really sorry to hear about it my condolences but please why did you have to ruin my morning like that it was a shock because you're opening scene did not allude to the fact that I was going to be devastated by the news of a dead dog because yes I get very attached to my dogs I had to put two of them down on one day at the same time while my daughter held the power of her favorite dog in it was the most horrible thing I've experienced yet and now that just brought up all those memories my morning is ruined now I have to watch more videos and do nothing today because I sure as hell I can't work now anyway my condolences

What is worse is her brother, Nitro, keeps looking for her every day. He is sleeping in her bed and is clearly depressed. Mika was his shadow that never left his side. The whole family is devastated. My deepest of condolences. That Barra though.. Has gotten some good word for itself. Seems to look, feel qnd perform very good. 1" from 10m is qctually way good from a replica BB pistol imo. I shoot only from about 6-7m with my BB pistols. And yes. I also like that extra safety within the accessory rail. Way handy qnd well hidden.

Man when i was younger wish there were people like you around ,.. lost my fire-arm's right's as a teenager ,. Some year's later when i wanted a firearm ,.. to.bad so sad son no fire-arm's for you 😢 ,.. you think it's important to learn weapon's and arrow's before fire-arm's and what is the proper way to hold a weapon and the reason we make our own firing range for targets and our responsibilities of background when plicking/target practicing ?

I've seen someone online put the lower internals in an umarex frame. I'm not sure if you need to do any modification other than disassembly but it should be possible. I've taken mine apart a bunch of times and there's a couple springs that can fly out on you if you're not careful
