Barrel Sling 4 Legged How to Tie a Four Legged Barrel Sling Barrel Sling (4 Legged)
In a past video I showed how to tie a barrel sling that had 2 legs. Dan Leclair in the comment section asked, what if you want more legs? Well here it is Dan
One commenter suggest that this would be a good sling for Bear Barrels?
The 2 legged barrel sling and the 4 legged barrel sling are really easy to tie, all you need is a loop of cordage that is secured together say with a Double Fisheman's Bend Channel Handle: @KnottingKnots

Wow! thank you! I was looking for some sort of macrame for my 4 yrs old classroom to do for Mother's Day. I have some small glass containers I've been saving for planting herbs. All the macrame videos I've watched were too complicated for them to do. But now I finally found just what I needed! Thank you again for sharing this simple, yet useful DIY plant hanger.

I’ve been watching many knot tying videos recently and stumbled on your channel. Very glad I did. I enjoy the speed at which you form the knots and the vocal step by step. Too many videos that are “tutorials” are simply some guy showing off how fast he can tie the knot and not very helpful to someone trying to learn. Cheers from Maryland, US.

Thank you so very much for you kind words. It sort of came about a while ago when I was contacted by a blind person, who liked the pace of my videos. He would watch them with his granddaughter and she would assist him when he went wrong. So that is really why I try to go slowly and give fuller explanations of what the knot is doing. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, much appreciated.

Neither, just happened to stumble across barrel sling videos and curiously wanted to work out the basic concept on how a piece of string can be knotted in a certain way that turns out a barrel sling. Your video was the only one that explained all that and easy for me to conceptualise, that's all.

Try again.....there are lots of videos for it. I’ve had mine hanging like this for years. U need to cross the rips below the pot and be sure to use a pot that had a lip for this to catch under. The video I used was like 45 seconds long and showed how to be sure the bottom has an X as well as the tension around the lip of the pot

My first trys were with old slippery twisted rope and a very slippery pot, not a good combination to say the least. I found some decent rope and now I have successfully tied 3 pots, they aren't real pretty but they work and getting better every try!! Do you have a video on how to wrap the parachord around the pot like that? That's so cool!

There are a number of ways of putting covering over a bottle. I do not think I have done a video on it, but you may be interested in these posts: igkt-solent.co.uk/?s=covering&x=0&y=0

What a fun and useful knot! Yes it was a bit of a bear to stop those ones sliding off, but tape did the job. I think on something rough like, oh I don't know, a barrel perhaps, it would be easier. :-D

Yes, slippery surface are a bit of an issue, some slippery ropes can also be an issue. Thanks for taking the time to view and also make a comment, very much appreciated.
