An easy way to walk until a summit of more than 3600 m. Which is the Best way if you dont like to climb dangerously. 🖖🏻👏🏻😊👍🏻😄 You Can see that few décades ago the glaciers were covering the place and the summit, it was a snow dôme like the Breithorn. Very nice, I realized that I missed something by not knowing it's existence. 😊
Hello @Bongo40 and thanks for your comment. For sure, the easiest route to reach the summit of the two Barrhorns is this one. I definitely recommend either staying overnight at the 07:20 Tourtemagne Hutte or starting really early, much earlier than I did, for a more relaxed climb and time to stop and enjoy the views. I know there's another route from the other side of this pass 19:05 The Schöllijoch Mountain Pass 3343 mt., but it involves down in a glacier, and I'm not sure about its condition. You'd probably need at least crampons and a rope team of at least two, but you should check that out. Ciao, thanks again and have great trips in Valais !
