Potassium Stearate, Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate, Potassium Tallowate, Sodium Tallowate, Potassium Ricinoleate, Potassium Shea Butterate, Sodium Ricinoleate, Coconut Milk, Sodium Shea Butterate, Fragrance, Citrus aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Citrus bergamia (Bergamot) Oil, Cistus ladanifer (Labdanum) Resin, Pogostemon cablin (Patchouli) Oil, Boswellia serrata (Frankincense) Oil, Juniperus virginiana (Virginia Cedar) Oil, Carthamus tinctorius hybrid (Hybrid Safflower) Seed Oil, Potassium Palm Kernelate, Allantoin, Lanolin, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Sodium Citrate, Tocopherol Acetate, Hydrolyzed Silk Protein

Glissant over Excelsior for me, it’s easier to lather and the post shave is more reliable. Excelsior feels like more work for not enough benefit over the older base, but that’s just me. Cologne Russe and Le Grand Chypre are my favorite scents. The Blut razor sounds like a winner, edge control is a key feature for me.

Nicely done Jack. LGC is indeed a classic; as well as the label designs for the Glissant line. It actually still remains to be my base of choice from B&M, over Soft Heart, Reserve and Excelsior. My favorite Glissant is Cologne Russe then Seville. I used to have LGC but at the time, my unrefined nose found them to be quite similar and CR got the slight edge. Thanks for sharing your time. . p.s....Bay Rum is another from the Glissant line, as I'm sure you know, but just forgot to mention. 😊

Thanks Jack that is why I watch this channel I learn a lot about fragrances then a week later I forget haha. I have tried a few B&M Excelsior Base soaps: Seville of course, Cheshire was awesome and another one I cannot remember. I think Cheshire was my favorite in that base so far. I have tried a few Soft Heart Base soaps and ya they are nice but overall to me not as nice of a base as Excelsior. To be honest Jack lately I have been obsessed with the Reserve Line I have 4/6 soaps so far in that base and loving em....only two I need to complete it is Waves which I tried and really liked as well as Spiced which I hear is great. The splash bottles are different and are labeled the name of soap on bottom...have a great week.

If I am not mistaken, Will from Barrister and Mann also lists Cheshire as his favorite scent.

I have learned from you not to rinse in between passes but rather wipe away the lather so as to retain slickness.

Will at B&M knows how to make soap as good as Douglas and Peter. After I received my blutt I sold off many of my razors. Only have 4 left. It's that good! Cheers🍺

Excelsior is good but the post shave really needs improvement. Something about soft hearts, despite the same ingredient list, has a much improve post

I wouldn't recommend that, I don't think most people are patient enough to stick around to build a lather.

What shave soap is better than another? Bull sh T is right. I really beleive much of their opinions are the placebo effect for sure. They're told by influencers that this is THE BEST SOAP BASE ARTISAN! I'd say there are so many that work so well that's its unmeasurable. They want to beleive what theyre told. Marketing and influencers, can I say shave priest without offense? Would that be possible?? Hmmmm........????

Nice shave, Jack! I have that soap and splash. I love the scent, love the soap, but the splash is a little too sticky for my taste.

I REALLY wish I could buff that way while lathering, but my head would be on FIRE! I guess paint strokes with the occasional buff here and there will do! Nice shave…cheers.
