In these Inflationary Times. HERE IS AN EASY WAY TO DO IT MY FRIENDs Use any hard Bar Soap, Tallow or Glycerin based Soaps out there? To fit in any Mugs or Cups? Like" (Mitchells' Wool Fat or Arko Sticks. Just to name a few of them?) You can mix and match your old Soaps? Cut up the soap on a paper plate, pour your soap chunks with the shavings from the Paper Plate into a Mug, cover the soap with a small amount of water, and microwave your soap. For about a minute or so? Place a paper plate under your mug in case it bubbles out of your cup? If it foams up, STOP. The water keeps it from burning itself up. (DON'T OVER WATER YOUR SOAP??) Easy, does it? Let cool don't want to Crack the Mugs or Cups you're using? (You just want it to Congeal in your Mug or Cup') it is very hot and watery'''''. let it cool in PLACE'. after it cools, put it in a Sunny Window, until the Soap hardens? When using your soaps, use Dry Brush Less Water. It thickens the soap, making it easier to use on your face. Save your Money, spend it on your wife, don't listen to the shave Mafia. It saves me time and Money. Wheelchair Larry Happy New Year. Your Mileage may vary?
Great video. I have just used 4 of A & E's soaps. My fav is Asian Plumb. I would love to see Greece as a travel spot. I love Greek food and the pictures of the Greek Mediterranean I have seen are breathtaking. Cheers, Kevin
Man I miss this guy! One of the best channels and the whole reason I purchased a Blutt razor. He wasn’t wrong. Fantastic razor. This Paradigm video and commentary is why I wish he would come back to the hobby from a YT platform.
Hello guy I agree about those blades don’t last long Like my RK blades last me from Friday to Friday then change the blades. On my Henson safety razor.

I love la toja shave shave stick because it nourishes my skin and has a nice scent along with great slickness I just don’t like the packaging because the shave soap falls out great shave thanks for shaving !
@@sterlingcampbell2116 Sorry Sterling, your knowledge of chemistry is superficial. The alkalis in soap remove the oils and fats on the surface of the hair allowing the water to enter. They also change the pH of the hair, opening the cell walls so that osmosis can occur. Just wetting the hair does neither. If you choose to respond, I will provide you with the citations.
I will say that the way I use that I learned from another shave guy is that you want this more watery and not use a brush. Simply putting about an almond size drop on your wet clean hands and anb rub them really fast. It will get foamy then you apply to your against the grain up. I was skeptical, but tried it yesterday and it provided me the first time I was not irritated with the Arc shaver on my face. Results will always vary but maybe he was right.
I have tried Lothur “Calm” and it is fantastic. I absolutely love it. It is easy to lather, has great slickness, and has a very long lasting post-shave. My face feels like glass after shaving with Lothur. I measure 1/16 tsp of soap and add 1/2 tablespoon of distilled water. I then turn it into a slurry using my finger. With a slightly damp brush, I turn the slurry into an incredible lather with lots of density and sheen.
I bought the Overlander in aluminum after waiting 5 months. Was totally blown away by this razor. Smooth yet very efficient. The lather channels are excellent and the grip is fantastic. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase.
Great review and description of the bowl. I purchased this bowl. Then the rabbit hole showed up and I bought a fancy resin bowl from Etsy for $85.00. After one attempt to use the bowl, I returned it and am now using the Pereira daily. Great bowl.
