bat up and ready to when he hits along with his hips are the same as griffey. Arms don't do anything, it's all about hips and the rotation they give. that creates the whip and the bat speed. amazing. bat and arms are slightly lagging behind his hips rotation. creates the smooth looking swing. almost as if they are throwing their arms at the ball and hitting it 400 feet.
@@ThekiBoran both work dont get me wrong, and both are strong enough but bonds swing is almost perfect, no wasted motion, no uppercut, compact, utilizes his hips, straight line to the ball with arms and bat, its a thing of beauty. And the power that swing generates😳.......well we've all seen video of the results.
His swing is great, but let’s talk about his timing.. his timing was absolutely perfect. Watch his toe tap and load, just as the pitcher’s foot lands. After the toe tap, As his foot/stride moves forward, it seems to move along with the pitch then boom! He releases/swings.
He was a very good player, but maybe he used roids. Check Bonds stats, when he was with Pirates he did not exceed 35 home runs at least. Only with 16, 25, 24, 19, 33...etc. But check when he left Pirates (when his muscles got bigger), he increased home runs a lot, he hit more of 40 most of the time, with 46, 42, 73, 40, 37, 42, 49, 34 etc.
