Barry Foster hold the Pittsburgh Steelers single season rushing record to THIS DAY. An underrated Steeler, Barry was an absolute force in 1992! With guys like Willie Parker, Jerome Bettis, Franco Harris & Bell.. Foster was that DOMINANT running the ball in 92'!

Barry Foster was an absolute FORCE during the 1992 season. Gaining the Steeler rushing record, Barry would also help aid an offense with a struggling passing attack. One of my personal favorites of all time! Don’t forget to like & subscribe 🖤💛

Barry Foster. Now that's a name I haven't heard of in a long time. A long time. I love the running backs of the 90s!

He was my football coach in 7th and 8th grade and it was fun to have him around now I’m 11th so time goes by fast

Great memories! I was iffy on Bill Cowher at the time but he did bring an intensity back to Steelers football.

I noticed back then the Steelers O line actually block and move people out of the way

There were quite a few GAPS for him to run through. Our O-line really shredded their D. Giggitty

Barry Foster's star rose so quickly and then faded just as fast. For one season though he was a total force behind a great line.

Old skool Steelers football, also Ernie Mills was one of my favorite Steelers back then, he was that teams version of Hines Ward, he made all the tough catches and could block.

In the 90’s our Olines MAULED people in the run game!! If they do that for Najee watch out man!

I can remember seeing Barry foster play growing up. He was good. I was nearly in touching distance of him when at the Hall of Fame preseason game when he was walking to the field with both new expansion teams at the time, the Panthers & Jaguars first game. That was always cool to have players walking to & from field b4 that game

My 1st game in Pittsburgh we drove from jersey city. Scalped tickets 25 dollars 1st row mid field upper deck. It’s was end of November but it was so warm we were in shorts!!!!

You wont ever see a rb with strays like that in the third quarter (22 runs for 125 yards) in the third quarter again! That's an entire game (and a really good game at that) for rbs these days!

Neil O’Donnell was always struggling with injuries throughout ‘92-‘94. So it was a constant hodge-podge at QB.

Barry was a true force of nature that season. Running backs are the core of momentum in football and I remember the last time the Steelers had a back named Harris and we all remember how that turned out ;) Here we go Yinz!

Strong running game always results in success. Noll knew it. Cowher knew it. Tomlin needs to get back to it.

It’s tough, the league is so different. Hopefully Harris can compliment Ben & help bring us #7!
@joeheid4757

@@ItzYinzburgh I'm paraphrasing. Noll once said, if you run for 200 yds, you win 90% of the time. If you pass for 300 yds, you lose 90% of the time. That was then, but you need to RUN THE BALL!

Great video. I'm pretty sure that's Chris Collinsworth commentating too, which is a bit strange just because I didn't know he had started that long ago.

Was primed to win the rushing title that year but had a mediocre game 16 and Smith had a monster game for Dallas to just edge past Foster.
