Barry hasn’t shown much emotion over losing someone in this season which is so odd but makes sense bc after 8 seasons he’s gotten to a place in which he feels like everything will be ok and what ever happens can be changed up and eventually become something good, so he has a lot of confidence but we are finally seeing that he’s living in a dream world where not everyone is safe, killing off killer frost and now Iris are ways to show barry that things will not be perfect. His upgrade in power still isn’t enough to live the perfect life he wants
@@VetroMatt not judging, it’s literally what’s happening in the show, Barry feels overconfident and has a mentality that at the end of the day he will always win, but now he’s actually seeing loss and he can’t prevent stuff and he’s finally beginning to worry
I though it was the opposite. In the moment he froze and was shocked of what he just did and he didn’t know how to feel. Kind of a more realistic reaction imo.
Joe is definitely going to regret telling Barry and Iris to save Thawne instead of just putting him down now that his daughter was killed because of him
Joe is to be blamed. Killing Thawne was not only revenge but also a necessity. Guys just too sick and powerful to be kept alive. I wish Barry had shot him in the head once he removed his powers.
No. She zipped around so fast she could’ve pulled something in her neck. Once she faced the lightning, it took a moment for her to process what she was seeing. However, once she realized what it was, it was too late.
I finally binged through it recently and was only able to make it to the end of s4. The whole thing is a mess. Why in the hell are the seasons 24 episode 40 minute episodes when it has a small cast that it’s not interesting in making great characters. In like 90 episodes of the show I watched, and character development was went back on, almost none of the fight scenes looked halfway decent, and the reveal of Emo Barry as Savitar was eye rolling. It’s like I’m watching this video of Iris die, KNOWING she’s going to be fine. They’re going to find some kind of way to bring her back like they do to every character they kill off. It’s so frustrating that I spent a month on this show dude.
I really hope Barry becomes Savitar in the future. Not evil time remnant Savitar, but that he actually travels back in time and builds that armor, or just making a thinner, less bulky version of that armor. I feel like it could be unique or Gustin’s Flash for him to be Savitar. He can be the God of Speed once and for all, to achieve a spiritual connection with the Speed Force even Wally couldn’t dream of. Being able to span across all along the timeline, like what TR Savitar’s plan B was, but natural.
@@rodrigoortega6268 “You kill me, you become me!” Savitar said that to Barry. When Barry kills someone, with malicious intent, he’ll officially become Savitar, regardless if he wears the metal suit or not, hero who made a mistake or villain, he becomes Savitar.
Savitar: “So you stopped me from killing her only to kill her yourself?!” Flash: “Well the only person that gets to kill her is me!” Savitar: “Then what took you so freaking long?!”
Well for me I can't even pretend to be shocked, worried, or sad. Nora & Bart is still around they didn't disappear plus I'm sure Barry will find a way to fix it sadly consequences be damned to whoever is affected in the process excuse my language. I think I will be shocked if they keep Iris dead. But as far as I'm concerned as long as Nora & Bart is around to me Iris will be fine. I think the real question is will it be the same Iris or would she have changed from the experience in some way. I'm sure by the end of next week's Barry will Iris back in his arms like nothing ever happened.
@@faiqamel4005 Nora & Bart aren't ARTIFICIAL speedsters....they are NATURAL speedsters. Barry is a natural speedster & Iris twice had speed force apart of her. So of course their kids get speed
@@faiqamel4005 How? Barry's had his powers since the very beginning, therefore he is a natural speedster with yellow lightning, and Iris, thanks to some guy, got Barry's speed and had purple lightning, we saw this again in an earlier episode where Bart, Nora, Barry + Iris, Jay Garrick, and Speed Force Nora took down some Godspeed clones. Also, 2049 Nora's lightning is purple and yellow, just like Barry and Iris.
I think I might know the graphic novel name! its either "Positive vs. Negative" or "Reverse Flash Rebirth" or "Revenge of thawne" or "reverse forces" or "Reversed" or "Negative Counterparts" or " Negative God Complex" this episode was the best episode of the season!!! *x11 is my 2nd fav episode and this is the first season finale we see thanes new suit! Maybe thanes defeat is him being arrested or trapped in a time period for another 15 yrs
why did iris energy go into matts thawne? how was thawne resurrected? my theory of wearing someones face was right and him manipulating ppl to get his powers back was right all along
Iris‘s energy had a lot of negative tachyons in her system that was just enough to bring Thawne back. Meanwhile Thawne was just energy (consciousness) after the negative still force “killed” him. all Thawne needed was a body which happened to be eobard.
Okay this is just stupid, how the fuck did Dion manage to lift his arm and hand to snap his finger in time for Iris to show-up while Barry was already moving hella fast charging up the lightning attack, it doesn't make sense that Dion was able to keep-up in that moment and still manage for Iris to show-up to get hit precisely near good Eobard for him to then return as the Avatar for the Negative Forces, aka. The OG Reverse Flash. All this just seems way to easily setup, as usual in this show, but they will somehow manage to bring a twist in the season finale I bet, that hopefully ties in Future Flash reacting to losing his future Iris to help present Flash fight the forces in the present timeline, along with the help of his speedster children, and Jay Garrick, and what's left of the leveled up Team Flash, also the return of Killer Frost? Sounds dangerously interesting.
That really is a bad idea to anger Barry like this. And it really would make savitar inevitable like he said. But he was so crazy in part because the team ditched him because he wasn’t the real Barry even though he absolutely was.
I occasionally try to recall why I stopped watching the Flash after the 5th season. Then I hear phrases like “time sickness” in clips and it all becomes clear again.
you think barry go abck in time get savitar suit then proceed kill the version of him that makes speed force generator as he wont need it etc and make his own better speed not artificial etc
This show is just groan inducing. I stopped watching after season 4 but am I supposed to believe that whoever that dude is, can move his arm faster than a lightning bolt?
Anyone else think this show went a few seasons too many. I don't even remember what season I stopped watching it now. It was before their kids came back. But I never liked the fasted man alive not being able to do something in time kind of concept, which is basically what they're saying happened to Iris here. Barry couldn't stop himself in time, whatever.
