The coolest thing is Bart did not take advantage of Nadia at all. He not only helped her escape that Romanian weirdo named Constantine but he helped set her up to live for the rest of her life in Montreal, Canada with a very good Romanian man and his network of Romanians, but sadly that man died in a diving accident and Nadia had nobody else to help her but Bart so Bart immediately invited her to move to Oklahoma with him and he said he will take care of her for the rest of their lives.

Like they always say they always wonder how did they ever attract the other person because Bart is an extrovert while Nadia is an introvert. They both were so lucky that they met at the American Cup on the winners' podium. They likely would not have married if not for that because Bart said he fell in love with Nadia at first sight at the 1976 American Cup.
