Hey Prique does your Mod still Work after Sakurajima. The one which allowed you to have more bases. I also Had a Mod before Sakurajima. its name is all the bases. IT allowed me to have 128 bases. I Had 26 bases or Something Like that( Not the limet of the Mod). But when Sakurajima came Out i couldnt build anymore palboxes.The 26 bases which i build before the Mod still Work and are still theyre. Do you have any recomandations what i should do? Sorry if my english isnt that good im from Germany. I Like your Videos keep Up the good work( i Hope i translate that correct.)

Absolutely HUGE changes. It mighta negated the use of your videos on the exploit, but being able to connect foundations at different level like this so easily is a huge boon. Honestly amazing qol additions this patch. Can’t wait to see what can be cooked up with them.
I was so happy when i saw both pillars and direct roof to foundation connection in the patch notes. bases will be so much better now. ....Even if all these recent updates make my coal+iron cliff base completly outdated. A worthy trade off for base freedom.

@@priqe Hey maybe you could still get early access for future updates. When I first watched your block technique video I think you were still at about 400 subscribers. So you are growing! It would be great if you could get early access in the future so you can inform us ahead of time about changes to building that others don't seem to notice or care about.
Great video, quick question. You said 10 bases now?(Private server guild speaking) I checked patch notes, it says at lvl 25 u can have 4 bases now. I looked into it and people are saying you can edit the base amounts in the settings. Now on the server side i dont see an option yet to do so. Does anyone have any information on this? Or is this just for single player? Thanks in advance!
thanks boss 👊🏼 and yeah its in the world settings at main menu! just click on whatever server at main menu, at the bottom of the screen there will be a “world settings” or “server settings” option smth like that. Click, scroll all the way down, its at the bottom, “bases per guild” or amount of guild bases or smth close to that!
Something that's super relevant that I didn't notice you talk about is that pillars let you build in water now. You can't build directly in the water by itself, but you can build over the water and attach pillars as you go to create support. If you want an in depth run down someone else has a video about it. I can't remember what it's called or who made it but if you look up "Pillars are OP" it should pop up. But it's really useful information that we need to get to the really good builders so they can figure out the best ways to utilize it
I also posted about the 10 base thing xD. From what I read on the patch notes at base level 25 you can have 4 bases. But a post of patch notes says something about being able to change how many bases you have in settings. But i didn't see it
@@JustinStewart if anyone seeing this is still wondering, this setting is in the world settings, the menu that you can access when you select which world to play. It's not in the Esc. settings.
@@kingofawesomeness5375 I found it on single player but if you're on a server that option is not available on the back end depending on who you're hosting with. I also got it to base level 25 and still only three bases not 4 for a guild. I'm going to do some more testing and I emailed the hosting company to ask about it
Thanks for testing this. game changer for starter bases imo. Looking forward to all the new strats that develop with the new expanded base stuff. I'm already in the process of migrating my whole operation to the oil fields on the new island as the oil extraction is crazy slow.
@@priqe I bumped up to 25 and the old PC is already complaining. trying to keep my bases in render distance doesn't help either lol. btw its Helz + Beakon = Helz lux. Straight upgrade imo.
Wdym by "Be careful about oil rigs" xD You can also press ctrl while placing a item like a furnace or decoration and it will align it against a wall perfectly Very W update, also chillet ignis is adorable xD
I've been building for quite a while and I appreciate showing that walls could be pivoted. I wasn't aware of that and thought they're only straight. Not sure if you know the Alt mode on stairs. I usually do that to connect the ground to the roof but not sure if that's what you were going for.
Im still so upset we don’t have inner and outer roof corner pieces. Early access has been out for a while and im honestly I bit upset at how basic the building system is compared to other survival games.
The alliment mode switch what side of the foundation you wanna place it on. If you use a stair case and press the alt button it change if it connect at the top of bottom of the foundation
the build area is still very small and its not enough room with buildings being so big. Its still a massive problem... while is a mod to fix it it was at the top of my list of simple things that needed fixed and it didn't get addressed..
The build area (base circle) is the work area for Pals, you can build anywhere you want granted you turn building decay off in the game settings. The current radius might be tied to the Pal's work distance.
yes for building it free range. as long as you turn off the decay option. the circle from pal box are for pals works area and for protecting your building from decay (if turn off become free range full building) . and as this vod mention you can snap build wall to fondation already big for me i can now make my small island bigger floor to outside with this snap all i need to do make the wall to bottom and connect it with my fondation than boom got fondation to build at top of that.. yes massive building in small island incoming

You don't need the foundations at all now, can have the pillars clip into the floor to be counted as foundations themselves. The alignment tool needs another object in play already to align to. Only need 1 pillar touching the floor to have it function as a foundation.
