Hi guys I'm just starting my own server on pc with normal pvp rules.i just wanted to start a server with normal rules so I could stop any players blocking obelisk with walls and stop people killing brand new players with out giving them a chance. Everyone is welcome I will not abuse my role and will make sure the server is fair game for everyone. It's called The Legend Of Conan
I will practice this double wall thing until it's second nature with anti climb I don't think they be able to get to the top unless into magic or admin

Can you still repair outside layers from inside? Or would you have to exit for repairs. During a raid that could be difficult but doable I guess. What are players seeing when looking at this with a repair hammer?
this is gr8 idea but I have made it even better thx to you I know how to do corners and top is no problem, u just need to start with 1 not 2 stacks and just go around. if u build on open u just go higher more out you go and finish with cieling. if sky is limited than just make all walls high enough. if u build in sky than this ceiling technic is perfect. U cant realy use both stacking on same base, I mean u can but it is just to much work to make it same from all sides
the same thing if you attack from above (not the part where are 5 ceilings, but the part where are 5 walls. all 5 walls explode simultaneously from an explosion from above)
I made a cave base up in the north and this helped out a lot it slowed them and gave me time to grab everything and go thanks for the help sucks that I couldn’t bring everything tho it was a 4v1😭 I hate being a solo now
Can u build a super awesome base with bridge + gates, walls and ceilings stacks in the the great dam spot ?? (G10) Theres a awesome location where its only one entrance, but i want to stack some gates + one bridge + ceilings and have base in the top, can u help me with that, make a video or something please? :(
So, the old doorframe where you alternated across is no longer possible due to the patch a bit further back, right? Is this the most secure way to build doors today in your opinion?
I am not sure if the roof pieces gets support from the walls. If they do you can have a living space that is 8 foundations wide or high, but I doubt it. Why else would he show it in the video? Just tested it. No support from the walls, so the pillars stay. It's as if they are separate from the walls.
@oldcraig how would you do this stacking method on an incline? wouldn't it need to be on foundation, which would defeat the purpose once the foundation is broken?
The wall stacking wouldn't 100 percent work because it claims the foundation fence was to close so I was able to get a double out of it there's a little gap in between where I can walk over instead of fall although it didn't match yours completely I was still able to get double foundation I may be able to get double doors in I will edit my comment later regarding the doors
Does the walls support the roof pieces now? Can I delete the pillars? Edit: Just tested it. They don't get support from the walls because they don't hit the edges of the wall pieces. The pillars are needed, even after joining the roof pieces to the wall pieces.
Is it just me or are the columns bugged and no longer give support to roof pieces? Like how he transferred the roofs from the off-set foundations to the pillars where he kept it. Playing on PS4.
Hey Craig. Getting back into Conan after the Update, do you know if this method for wall stacking works for Reinforced Stone instead of Black Ice? I think the Reinforced Stone Foundations are thicker so I’m not sure if the explosion will stack to the fence behind it
Generally try to keep them >50% underground. They usually won't take explosive damage then. If you go too high they will take damage along with the wall on top of it.
I was using this and had successfully stacked the wall two levels high, but when I got to the third level it was only letting me add two rows of the fence foundations and not the third. Any suggestions on what to do about that? Also is it possible to apply this method as a hanging ceiling base instead of it being on the ground?
Can this also be used on a pillar type base where the foundations would overhang off the side of the pillar? Will walls attach to the bottom of the fence foundations? Just curious how I could fit this design into my current location.

Building is funny. But where is protection vs raid? When you explode from the corner - you damage all 5 walls with single jar. 7 jars and -5 walls. How to protect your constructon vs corner attacks?
I cant get a fence foundation to stack on top of my doorway from foundation stacking VIII i can put fence foundations on top of fence foundations but cant seem to get that to keep going above the doorways
@@hesintherain7184 Once you go wall you never go back. Unless you are located in a place where you can extend fences down from above from a fixed location.
Dude every other RU-vidr is starting to use oldcraigs building methods and not a one of them gives him any credit. I’m about to go around and start commenting in all their videos. I kept trying to figure out why nobody else built like I build and then i realized most people never even heard of oldcraig.
Yeah, doors are always a major weakness. You'd never want to build them on ground level. The further off the ground the better. This design is just to spark ideas for you to adapt to your own base.
@@oldcraig Ohhh I get what you mean. For ground level doors I was thinking about making a pyramid with your fence structure walls and corridors filled with doors. It'd look like this : pasteboard.co/IQCSQIi.png All the above layers would be foundations I guess. The base would only have the base ground level everything above would be protection. It wouldn't be a ''farming'' base but more like storage cuz I wouldn't open 60 doors every time. I'm solo player and I don't play much during the week so I need something that's durable. Marc-Etienne Mercier I’m the same as you I’m a grinder not a pvper but a pretty good raider who knows what he’s doing and I don’t play during the week cause I know good spots and make compact bases like this in vid his weekend was so good cause I made a decent size base t3 in under 35 hours the first 24 was Capturing a named black smith etc etc all the way to 35 hours
@@SynoGz Nice. Do your bases get raided? Last wipe was the first base I havent got raided because I split my workstations and thralls in different areas. I had one 3x3 room for each workstation in 7 different rooms and it seems like it discouraged raiders from attacking since they probably knew they wouldn't be rewarded that much for the effort. It was the first time I didn't concentrate all my stuff in one specific spot and I havent got raided even if it was only T1 foundations with T2 doors so it's pretty cool. But I still want to figure out how to get the most protected 1x1 square in the game. In my mind there's no other option as a pyramid with no doors but I might be wrong.
Marc-Etienne Mercier my bases don’t get raided cause all my thralls are lvl 20 with good 2h swords and good hollowbone bows with snake arrows so they need a lot of set antidote also I have a lot of heatstrokes and frostbite at my main no one got through it unless they stopped to think and break the furnaces and glowing stick standing torches to go in with nothing but thralls to worry about but I still split all my loot cause one day my main will get raided no base is unraidable u have to know what u doing
Is this even feasible for a solo PvP player? I can’t imagine how long it would take to farm the resources to create this.....not to mention all the mats you have to demolish along the way 😅
Based Cringe I’m on an official server. I have starting from scratch again with nothing. Level 60 with stone tools and no thralls. Will be a grind.....but I guess I will build a temporary base and slowly chip away at it
I started on an 1x offical too like 3 weeks ago and i just made a base of around 70k steel reinforcements took us about a week to gather the materials with 4 people. What he does here should be obtainable for a solo within one day. also remember you can use t1 to get the fence foundations lined up and once done you can replace it all for t3.
Stewart Taylor I’m a solo pvp player I make like 15 of these bases mostly because all u gotta do is farm iron at gods claw brimstone at shattered springs i get my hide from relic hunter city with my berserker teliths sorrow on him oh and those 15 stacked fence foundations is a decent size not a monster base although it be funny to check the log to see somebody runout of explosives trying to blow it up
Adam Kis 😂 should’ve got some archers at the end to frustrate them I have 10 lvl 20 archers on t3 wedges with mask on them and in a good spot so u have to blow up supports to kill them fast if you don’t have a good bow
