Based On What? 

I suppose that is the question, huh? Based on what?
Those who have spent some amount of time on the internet’s political side, which admittedly, is all of its sides, likely have come across the phrase “based and redpilled” at some point in time.
To the outside observer, this is a rather quizzical choice of words. What does it mean to be based? What’s the significance? Why based in particular? Is it a reference? A joke? A jojoke? A euphemism? What does Based mean?
Well, ladies and gentlemen, that’s exactly what I aim to find. Today I will present several theories for what the term based stands for, how this word came to receive these meanings, and perhaps, in the process, help you to understand how you can become based.
