Again in under a week dry creosote has fallen down and filled clean out and chimney thimble. The hot dry exhaust for oil burner is drying out creosote on terracotta liner of chimney and falling down eventually clogging and shutting off burner on no pressure in safety air switch. I must remove stack pipe and clean out until chimney is clear of this damaging dangerous left over from burning wood improperly and a wrongly installed add on the heating system.

Is that chimney behind the block wall also for a wood stove, I'm only asking because you have an oil fired furnace and I'm confused if the furnace is causing the Creosol build up. Or it's coming from your joined wood stove furnace

Its code in most locales to NOT PUT RETURNS in kitchen's and baths so those orders are not broad cast through the dwelling

I was a HVAC installer and sheet metal apprentice, along with service and electrical service panel change overs etc. No my friend from radio days Glen N, Glenn I haven't heard from in a few years. I did meet Maureen in town once to get my tent and camping supplies back and she had lost memory she said was due to very high blood pressure. Not sure about the rest but their road ends at my road. Yes the wind has done some damage here and from Me to Powassan the hydro was out for a few days due to trees down. My road has lots down and just pushed into ditches. Lots of free firewood if you have the drive to do so. Thanks, Got to get another 95 foot of 400 mini led lights to finish that huge round pine, wish I could get to the top and put a big plus star lit up for the Real reason of this season. Was that thing not opening, sucking out the heat. Always wondered why burner mechanic adjusted that then the burner then checked that once again. I learned something, boy you used it all over again and got left over. What are you doing with the left over metal pieces? Sure got allot of repairs to do, don't get overwhelmed. You look a bit tired, take some time GRG wasn't built in a day.

Thanks Pops, I am burned out and burner is down again. Will pull it tomorrow and clean photoeye and fit a new nozzle. Some of the stack I gave to the buyer of the Scotty SS, wish I could have used it but this chimney is not made for such high temps and a outdoor boiler is in the plans. That way it can help heat the coming greenhouse and hot water and the farmhouse. Going to build a steel shed around dry well where house water is right overtop and possibly use the 6 inch big O pipe to enter basement. Some of the left over sheet metal will be returned and used to extend shops oil furnace duct work to floor level where heat needs to be directed.
