Hey Marlon. Nice job on showing the house, but I keep having to tell realtors: you need to give at least an approximate price of the houses your showing if you want mass subscribers. There are other bloggers showing Florida houses and have approximate prices right on the front page. I can look at hundreds of nice houses, but without the price, it's just another nice house. Good luck my friend.
If your watching on TV you can't click on the details. If all the details including price are on the video, and I think it's a good deal, THEN I may go to my computer to investigate further. Without the price, there is no need to look further; it's just another pretty house.
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! When can I move in! Would love to have this home all to myself. Where can I get the floor plan? It is beautiful. Available? Price???
Very nice. Thank you for taking the time to show us this home. I am in California, pool but not a lot of grass, two story, three bedrooms with retreat. But the home you just showed is a home. A very nice home.
I appreciate the mature landscaping in an older home. I also appreciate that this video recognized that, while the interior finishes would be OK for someone like me, an update of the kitchen and bathrooms might be wanted by a prospective buyer. I have never understood why realtors gush over crown moulding. It's easy and cheap to install in any home. This is an enormous house, suitable for a large or multigenerational family, and there are probably not many this size on the market.
Realtors are not design experts and gush over the tackiest little features. As for crown moulding, no one does that anymore except in a very traditional style home. People get too hung up on the junk they see on HGTV. Agreed, the master bath along with the kitchen are horrible, poorly designed and dated. Total down to the studs remodel would be necessary as well as exterior stairs down to the pool.
Nice house, I'm just trying to figure out did I miss you going to some stairs? Because the Master was on the main level but the master patio and kitchen was on top level because u look down at the pool. So I'm confuse how is that🤔
Yes it's a split floor plan...One story in the front, with a basement that drops down. There were also some downstairs that lead to basement that you missed.
That's mainly because of the geology of Florida,. Most parts of the state have elevations above sea level that are too low, and water tables too high. The only way you're getting a basement in most of Florida is if you're on a hill like this house is.
THIS is the perfect house. When I win the lottery, I will be looking at this house and offer the current owners way above what they paid for it. He did say he couldn’t buy a $600,000 house so that’s the only way I knew how much this house is. The other commenter made a good point. When looking for a home, the price is the key. I am not going to waste a lot of time watching homes that are out of my range (pre-lottery winning).....so giving the price will encourage those who CAN afford it, to watch. IMO Love your style ......thank you! Im saving this video so I won’t have to look for it after I win the Lottery. Jus’ Sayin’
I appreciate the feedback. I was really just so excited to show the home i totally forgot to mention price at the beginning so that was my bad. lol They do have similar basement homes in this neighborhood that do pop up from time to time so may not be limited to just this one!
Mr Persaud. I am in love with your videos. I was on RU-vid and came across your videos I love how you communicate and don’t bog us down with over talking. I want to thank you, because my husband is now actively looking at homes with me now but only likes your videos. I will be contacting your office as we are looking to move from NEW YORK CITY to Florida within the next 3/6 months.
Hey Ana! Thanks so much to you and your husband for subscribing and watching the videos! I was just visiting NY the other day! We would love to help you guys make the move down to Florida! Give us a call whenever you'd like, we can even help you start planning from now to help make the transition a little bit easier on you guys. 407-305-4165 Looking forward to meeting you both!
That's a good suggestion Carlos but the reason I have had to stop doing that is the prices are literally changing every week with most of the new construction homes so I have had to refrain from including the prices on those and just having you all refer to the links on our website for up to date pricing info. This home here was a resale however and they were asking $600,000.
Hey Marlon. A basement in Florida? Huge home. Love the front elevation. 2005 built? Looks good. Formal dining is small for such a large home but nice. Like the study. Master en-suite a little dated but clean. Spacious master. Balcony great. Amazing this is the first floor still looking down at the pool from the master. Kitchen also dated but clean. If open it up, may not have enough cabinetry and countertop. Bedrooms are big. Bath dated. Laundry spacious and garage. Ok. The lower level now. Love the sitting room, game room and bar. More storage. $600,000? That’s it for this large home? Wow. Ha. Was saying to myself it’s another apartment. Ooohhh. Can’t have 2 stoves? So that’s why in those homes with the in-law suite with the separate entrance there’s everything but a stove. Nice home. Just a few updates needed. Thanks so much and see you next video.
Hey Cydney! yes a basement home!! it is huge! I'm glad you see the value here! there's so much space! it is a little dated imo but it has lots of potential! See you next video!
That house doesn't have a basement, it's bi-level, the terrain is a slope and the architecture was done perfectly with two levels. You often see this where there's mountains.
30 mins to downtown. 40 mins to airport. Turnpike exit 7 mins away. Wal Mart within walking distance. Restaurants and shopping only 5 mins away. One of the best locations in Clermont in my opinion!
Yeah this one is def a fave! Check out the other basement home tour as well if you havent already. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ElHUaphM4yY.html
Love this, however you never mentioned anything about an HOA or anything like that. I'd use the concrete room as a hurricane shelter and install solar panels for the case of power outages.
@@Marlon.Persaud for sure, I closed on my home last month I’m so happy with living in Clermont it is a beautiful Gem of Florida!! I’ve never seen hills like this in Florida! Absolutely beautiful!!
I love the basement retreat. Reminds me of home [Jersey] basements are standard parts of the home. Attics included...Beautiful home, I wish I could............
In the majority of Florida, the local geology isn't conducive to underground construction. The elevation above sea level is too low and the water table too high.
I know the video is old but I had one question , what was behind the one door you guys didn’t open in the room with the pool table , I’m assuming the furnace room?
Watching only a few real estate videos, I noticed new construction does not include an entryway. I don’t like walking direct inti the main living area-a closet close by for hanging coats. This home is nice. The basement and storage is wonderful. Two families can easily live in this home. Don’t care for the pool, but otherwise very nice.
This is exactly the Floorplan of my neighbor's home. Though I don't rhink this is in my neighborhood because we don't have fences and our pools are "caged". Exactly what neighborhood is this home located?5
Basement???? 2 story, wouldn’t that be like a raised ranch? Most folks prefer one level homes unless it’s directly on water. What is the sea level before it is engulfed into the sea???
Wow! This house is AMAZING! The master bedroom is too large, or needs to be staged differently. There’s room for a couch and/or a couple of chairs. The master bath needs a re-think. It looks like it was designed in the 80’s. There needs to be a half bath somewhere on the main floor. I think, if possible, to take down the wall that hides the staircase to the basement. Put up a railing instead. I’d add a spiral staircase to get from the main level to the pool. Just dreaming!
It sold pretty quick for over ask but they acuallly have a few other ones with a basement available if you're interested. Give us a call at 407-305-4165 or shoot me an email at Marlon@ThePersaudGroup.com
I'll keep you in mind. I'm retired. Renting the in Port Saint Lucie. Liking the space. Lots of rental possibilities. Grandkids visiting etc. Price is not bad from what I have seen. Rates are up . I'm waiting on a few things right now. Thank you. Very cool
Coming from up North a basement is the best thing a home can have. Unbelievably nice. Well hey Advent health Winter Park Cafeteria is in a basement so it's possible. Lol
Good morning Persaud , im looking for a 1 storey home in Hollywood since work is there, 3/2 for under $400.000 please thanks ....let me know if you have anything soon thxs ....
So is this more of a Split level or basement? This seems more split level then a real basement. I lived in a house just like this in Florida and it was considered split level.
It's called a split level home. There not truly basements like you see up north. It looks one story from the front but drops down in the back. I use to live in one in Jacksonville...
@@christinasweetheart2810 Yes love this floor plan. I am getting one built with similar split floor plan, balcony, and all. Also in Lake County FL, just like Clermont. Just smaller at about 4000 sqft. Very excited!
It's more of a 1st floor, 2nd floor plan. Some basements have a small ground level window only. I was hoping to see a "hurricane shelter" kind of basement.
Yeah I notice most homes in Central Florida open inwards vs South Florida homes which open outward. My guess it's because the winds are way more intense in south Florida during storms so the wind will blow the door shut down there vs blowing it open.
