Saw these guys on the road with Lorna shore and Distant. Andreas (vocalist) is such a nice guy, I got to hang out with him briefly after the show. They sound the same live as they do in the recordings.

wtf tank...everytime you do a reaction now there is a bass I just bought in it! the new lorna shore song has a BTB which I bought like a month ago, and I just took delivery on my Ibanez SRMS 805, gotta love those sexy Ibanez model names right? As for the band, it seems Cabal is now on my daily playlist, great fucking song and a reaction to match! 🤘 LETS GO!!! 🤘

Cool stuff. I've never heard of this band before. May go back and check out their older stuff in the mean time but will definitely check out their new album when it comes out. In terms of what genre is this band it sounds similar to me to the sound of newer Fit For An Autopsy, which I know has been classified as post-deathcore, so that's what I would go with.

I read that they are Blackened Deathcore, but that is more suiting for the first EP and first Album. Which I like a lot more. Also please check out the Russian band/project called Amatrahat. It doesn't get much heavier than this, and still being great!

Blackcore... Blackened metalcore. They're closer to Portrayal Of Guilt and Young And In The Way than they're to Whitechapel or even Lorna Shore. Usually blackcore is black metal+OG metalcore à la Converge, however, they feature a more modern, djenty style.
