It's pretty amazing that still, in 2022, with the endless amount of songs that have been made through out the years, you can still make a song that basically consists of 2 notes and make it sound like nothing else. The simplicity is its brilliance, like Sepultura - Bloody roots. It feels like I'm being attacked by a bear!
I think Shaman EP is a taste of their new direction in the new album, because they're always doing something different ever since In Medias Res. This song in particular is made for live shows, I think. It's more of a relentless chant than your usual structured song. I can't wait for 2023.
Orbit Culture never EVER misses. They consistently keep their sound and yet also create something completely new. Looks like they won't be with In Flames when they're in Phoenix sadly:(
They have a talent of setting up a sound that it feels like it shouldnt work and it will fail, but theb they just hit ur head with the most insane transitions and new riffs like where do they even come up with this stuff. Cant wait
I love this band SO MUCH! One thing I absolutely love about their music is that it doesn't make me tired like some of the other heavy songs, when you listen to them you have to take a break because the music is so intense. With OC I only feel more energized, their music gives me a hard kick and I only want more!
Holy fucking shit. The boys are back and absolutely ripping it up just like always, if not better. If this is coming from an album, I am 150% in. Like.. It's just a relentless beat down and you can't help but love it.
Having to wait on the best reactor is as painful as waiting for the best band to drop new videos. Let’s Go!!!! Ready for this reaction. P.S. probably have listened to this song 50 times already. It’s an absolute brutal banger. OC delivers like no one else.
I truly enjoy Riivata’s videos, especially for OC and Atlas. Dark, gloomy and mysterious. I live in Finland so I know dark and gloomy! 😅 The song is amazing, can’t wait for the album. 🤘🏻🔥
Holy fuck, I gotta get tickets to that tour. This band is one of my favorite discoveries from your channel. 🤘 EDIT: Double holy fuck, they're playing Blue Ridge Rock Festival an hour from my house next month, and so are Halestorm and Electric Callboy. 😱
First time I have actually heard of them, so I really appreciate you viewing the stuff that you do, I always add more bands to my list! This song was absolutely amazing!
In the last week or so, I've been itching for new OC music after getting my melodeath fix from The Halo Effect album that recently dropped (awesome album!) so this release is perfectly timed. As a huge OC fan, they never, ever disappoint, and are so consistent and incredible that it's just a huge gift when they release new material. Finally, the song...My neck is sore and I agree completely with Tank in that I feel this track is a fantastic extension of Carvings and I loved every second of this! It's a great day to listen to OC so thank you Tank for your excellent reaction, I also had a huge grin on my face as well.
OMFG, what a song, I f...g love it. Christopher is such an unbelievably drum machine. Man, love the groove here... bang that head that doesn't bang ;-) Nice reaction Tank, like always.
Thanks to YOU, Tank, I love Orbit Culture as well!! If I hadn't watched your video reacting to "Strangler", I think I'd NEVER have the amazing opportunity to listen to these guys. So, once again, thank you SO FUCKING MUCH!!! 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
I always listen to your opinion first, because you really know about this matter and I like that very much 👌👌👌💋👍 And you bring the energy from this song over also totally real as I feel it 🤘🤘This song is again a neck breaker, great production 🙏🙏❤️❤️🇸🇪
I just can't get enough of this band. Ever since the covid rules started getting relaxed a bit, they have been going full speed. Seeing them in Lincoln, NE with In Flames and I really can't tell you the last time I was this excited to see a band. Cheers, sir!
Love the head banging man, you were keeping up with the energy of this song. Orbit Culture has been my favourite band since Rasen and this song slaps. I will 666% be moshing to this live one day. I love that this song is almost an anthem of the band itself. The antler symbolism representing the band logo and the lyrics talking about “we’re in Orbit” and obviously beware of the antlers. Anyways love your video, thanks for the tank tips, equipment notes, talking about the band, and sharing their hype. Keep it up! 🤘
Loved your reaction, Tank. Honestly, I didn't really know Orbit Culture until your reaction. If there's one thing that really stands out to me. It's the Metallica influence is really there. This song in particular gives off, Sad But True and Wherever I May Roam vibes.
Thank you, Tank! Brilliant review as usual. OC is at its creative zenith and I really hope it lasts forever. OC is in a league of its own. Haven't been this excited since Nirvana...gah! I can't take it, OC literally makes my brain explode!
Great! can´t wait for the new album! Just got back here to watch and listen to new stuff, after my fathers death a couple of weeks ago. So great to finally hear some great music again and think about something else. Cheers! Keep it up.
You got that glimmer in your eyes when you listening to Orbit Culture 🤩 Dude you need to try BlackBraid…. You are not hearing this wombo combo everyday but it is a Native American black metal band!!!! And they rock big time… go and give them some love
Tank, I would just like to say, that your content is amazing, I am a fellow musician and love the tech talk, been following your RU-vid journey and it's been super fun, hope you have a wicked day my guy🤘😃🤘loved the new orbit reaction keep them coming
"In Flames - Pinball Map" playing underneath the review...👍 Thanks again for introducing me to Orbit Culture. I blast Nija/Shaman at least once a week at work.
Its just impossible not to headbang to this masterpiece. I legit love this band! And you are by far the best and first reacter I always search for when this gem of a band releases a new ep :D
Funny how you said Tribal because I thought of Soulfly’s song ‘Unleash’ with Dave Peters of Throwdown on guest vocals, and when you hear the trippy guitar parts of Rizzo reminded me of parts of this song. You’ll know what I’m talking about if you listen to that song and then listen to this Orbit Culture song again. 🤘🎸🤘. This is the best metal band out there right now for our genre as a whole!
Will never forget hearing them for the first time…something about OC is just different but I still don‘t fully know what - i just know that I love it! P.S. Tank: Lorna Shore just played a full show over in Germany at SummerBreeze Festival - the stream/ video is fascinating to watch. Speaking for myself: I‘d be interested in learning more about what‘s going on on stage that I am probably missing.
They are ending their leg of the US tour right before they come to Dallas 😭. That being said, this song evokes a lot of feelings. Had goosebumps the entire time and my heart was pumping as hard as the double bass. These guys are no doubt my number one favorite.
Tank... THANK YOU! You catch me at a perfect time - I finally gave myself a chance to watch your reaction to this band and holy f. ITS A BANGER! Thank you so much for introducing me to so much more new awesome music. Through you and Nik I've found Spiritbox which developed to my absolute favorite band really fast and made me start hearing deathmetal while falling in love with Lorna Shore and Slaughter to prevail. I can't thank you enough for letting my own music bubble explode and open to so much more awesomeness! I'm off watching your other reactions... bye! :D
The craziest thing to me about Niklas, is what I once heard in an interview. He stated he originally wasn't into death metal at all and it was a friend who "exposed" him to it. He then said he learned to perform his growls in around 3 years (I may be slightly off on the timing here, it's been awhile since I've seen the interview.) To go from not liking/hardly knowing death metal to master vocalist in 3 years is insanity and speaks volumes about his natural talent for this style of music.
Hi Tank, greetz from Germany. I came across your chanel by reading comments at the chanel from Electric Callboy. You are doing a great job with yor reviews. There is so much good music and so many bands I only heard because of you. You should check out Cypecore a german cyberpunk melodic deathmetal band. These guys are blasting. The Alliance or Saint of Zion are recommended. Cheers mate 👍😉
Orbit culture , I don´t even have word anymore for how good they are. I was 6 years old 1984 when a lot of metal and made their big breakthrough, I guess 2022 is orbit cultures year,.
Orbit Culture kills it with every song, EP, and album. This next album will be huge! 🔥🤘🔥 Edit: Blackbraid is a new black metal band you should 100% check out. They just had the first album drop. Black metal with Native American influences, absolutely amazing!
Though I haven't heard everything Orbit Culture's done, I wasn't sure at first if I liked this or not because I missed hearing Niklas' clean vocals; this is the first Orbit Culture song I've heard in which Niklas has only used harsh vocals. I really love how punishing the main riff is, and I'm happy they changed things up just as it was starting to get a bit repetitive for me. The change-up helped me to appreciate the riff all over again once it returned. All in all, Vultures of North really delivered on the punishing "groove metal" sound Orbit Culture excels at, and the production value screams quality as it always has. I really do hope this band will blow up soon, and their tour will certainly help with that. Also, I think I read online somewhere that Niklas did want to do a Metallica tribute album soon. After hearing their cover of Hardwired, I _REALLY_ hope that happens soon! I can already imagine which other Metallica songs will sound amazing with the Orbit Culture treatment.
Hello Tank! I'm Brazilian and I watch your channel every day, you are the best in the business of reactions. Thanks for bringing new bands to your channel, information about them and above all, for entertaining your audience. A big hug directly from Brazil 🇧🇷
