Your channel is definitely one of the best (or the best 😉) at teaching dance! This vid really answer all my queries. I feel that footwork is the easy part, but what a lot of people foget is the foot placement part, followed by the body(hip/knee/shoulder) action. So thank you sooooo much for all these details. Really appreciate it ♥ Also, I do love the way both of you talk as it gives more energy to the vids and I won't zone out along the wayXD
Hi Tytus, we should be the one thanking both of you for sharing your dance with us! I want to dance so badly every time after watching You and Liwen's passionate tutorials 💪
@@DanceInsanity thanks for the reply. We have just been shown how to do a turn in the corner tonight in the quickstep dance but I cant remember it properly. Do you have a video demonstration?
@Jen Er, also work on your balance with this exercise video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UatrCX0_BCA.html Let us know how it goes!
@Joan Peacock thanks! Work it slowly and straighten your leg before you put weight on it. Just keep practicing and it will be easier with time. 👍🏼 keep it up.
WOW! This is the best tutorial to understand the cha cha locks. So happy that you make so many details on what to do with the feet, and hips and other parts of the body. Now, I feel like I can practice actually knowing what to do. And i like views close-up also, from the back. Thank you so much Tytus & LiWen. more videos like this please. :)
Luisame yay! You are welcome. 😊 We are happy that this can help you. Keep practicing and correcting yourself - you'll have it soon! What other steps would you like to have tutorials like that for?
SpookyVR hmmm... Good question. VR during the slower lesson parts maybe good. The thing about Augmented reality is that you can still see yourself and your own movement, whereas in VR, you can't see and self-correct when taking the lesson. So AR may be better for this. 👓
Wow! This is exactly what i hv been looking for to fine tune my both rumba n cha cha....more and longer video pls...the zooming on the feets and back video are really helpful....😘😘😘 Also this time teaching is more serious then the others which were funny but i personally really like it this way with less jokes..so that the video focus more on teaching n explaination....keep it up🤗
Syntec Nutraceuticals SEA Thanks for the feedback! Glad you are enjoying this video. 😊 When you say longer videos, do you mean longer than this one or about this length?
@@DanceInsanity Hi, thx for e prompt reply. I meant longer video length...i always find e videos too short n i hunger for more🤣...the video is technical that helps me to dance more like a pro rather than look like stepping instead glides...many of us dance cha cha as like stepping on e floor or no body groove/ sexy hip movements..ur videos help me differentiate from othrs..also pointing out e general mistakes we made.
Syntec Nutraceuticals SEA thanks for clarifying. Haha. I guess it's a fine balance of keeping you hungry for more, but also satisfied at the same time! 😉 Keeping body tone and foot pressure are super duper important to making the locks look good. So keep reviewing and practicing!! 🙌🏼 do u do both American and international styles?
cool! I"m glad to hear you're very serious about being an amazing dancer, and thanks for the feedback on how to make the videos better for your infotainment. its a fine line and we're looking to get the perfect balance. thanks again. Tytus
every time I practise I learned new things. not only newbie need to learn but also dancer need to exchange technique from each other, internet is a platform, I think this is not good enough, for example dancers may need some kind of seminar based on internet broadcast, facetime broadcast .
Exactly the move I was looking to work on next! The locks are such cool looking moves; cha cha has quickly become my favorite dance in the month-'n'-a-bit since I discovered you guys. I'm really looking forward to eventually getting at the level where I can be creative and make up some moves of my own. I'm definitely inspired by the "5 ways" videos that you guys do; it's so awesome to see the standard versions of moves get a new twist
cdmnumber3fan Right on! Did we read your mind?! 😉 Cha Cha music is the bomb! When you wanna take a break from practicing these locks, just mix it up with some of our 5 way moves... Can keep it challenging and fun. 👍🏼 Any questions on this tutorial?
I also just learned that Cha Cha "figure 8 with your feet" move on your channel. Luckily, it came very easily to me, so that has pretty much solidified cha cha as my favorite lol hard not to love what feels most natural :)
You guys are really helpful, and your pacing is just right. The breakdown of the steps with the weight and the foot placements etc is exactly the kind of detail dancers need.
yulia you are welcome! 😊 Thank you for the suggestion! Now, just practice, practice and make your Cha Cha back locks super awesome. What else are you working on?
Dance Insanity I am practicing and will continue to do so:) I am learning my first international cha cha routine in my group class. The lock step was the hardest for me so far. I’m also working on my balance and foot strength. Oh! I struggle with arms so much. Hahaha, it’s like I can only focus on one thing at a time. And when my teacher suggests I use arms I get it all wrong! It’s hard for me to implement arm movement in my cha cha😩
@@tytusbergstrom I like the flow of the lesson because I am a beginner and I don't know anything but if you already have experience then it might feel slow or repetitive. I recommend not to change it because the repeat is great for learning as you watch, it feels like an actual lesson (since rewinding is annoying if your trying to learn the steps) but maybe add skips like you do with your other videos to appease the more experienced learners:) Thanks so much guys for the lively and detailed commenting in your videos! Its so great to find a well thought out lesson for learning the Latin dance with teachers that have great form and who emphasizes technique!!!! I wish you guys did ballroom too but I'll have to do more googling to find videos as good as yours:) Keep up the Awesome work! PK
Hello! You can do our hip action video with legs apart, to give your knees space! Knocked knees means your hips are rotated inwards… have you tried doing hip opening exercises to correct the knee alignments? Much ❤️
@@DanceInsanity hello thank you so much for replying. yes i did try, looks ok but my technique wil not be perfect, it always shows and I am a bit of a perfectionist 🙈
Been working on that swivel thing you showed us a few weeks' ago😊 One thing I'm trying to improve is quick opening out for side-by-side cuban and split cubans...so any tips on getting a fast swivel would be amazing.
Barney Phillips Nice!! Quick tip for the split Cubans, keep your spine anchored over the swiveling foot. Less distance to travel = more energy for speed. Let us know how goes it. 😊👍🏼
This is from Ray Rose - UK brand. If you want more in depth understanding of what kinds of shoes to get...Check out my dance training program: www.hipsandheels.co I have a full series about heels and practice shoes because getting a good fit is so important. And of course links to my favorites shoes as well.
Encontré ese vídeo por casualidad y estoy segura que ahora Sí voy a aprender a bailar cha cha😊felicitación por la paciencia y la mejor manera de explicar cada pasito 😊👏👏👏👏👏 Just Amazing😊
