Nice mix. I use the same bullet but I shoot a Blackhawk and I use 11 gr of Unique (not the max of 12.5 gr) for my load. I don't think my load would work in a single action like a Colt or an Italian SAA. I think it would wreck it in short order.
Kevin Archer I’m going to make another video with this press later this week on 40 S&W. I’m going to hook up a bullet feeder die so it should be interesting. Thx for watching my show.
45 Colt name. The 45 Colt is the official name used by the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute (SAAMI). The common misnomer name 45 long Colt is not required. It was never officially named 45 long Colt and it's use is incorrect. Yes, everyone's familiar with the 45 Colt cartridge back in the calvary days. The soldiers came up with the 45 long Colt designation, because of the shorter 45 S&W Scofield cartridge. I'm not stating this to change your mind, I'm just educating you on the only correct name 45 Colt.
